The exact title is Six Reasons Why Mormons Are Beating Baptists (In Church Growth). My guess is that Mitt boosterism may have a lot to do with writing the article. Perhaps Mittmania is starting to ignite in Evangelical America.*




*If so, that is one more piece of evidence in the Mayan prediction of the Mittpocalypse 2012, since you just know that Evangelists getting onboard represents the Seventh Seal.

It should be noted that the author references an article from the Deseret News in which the church gave membership numbers that were later downgraded after a significant error was discovered as was discussed here.
Because of the unclear fashion in which the LDS church keeps it's numbers, I have reservations about the premise that Mormons are retaining more members than Christians.
