The Key to Mormonism
Here is a paper I wrote about the way I see the church. I wanted to share it with you to see your thoughts on it. I would love to see your thoughts. Thanks Shixon
The Key To Mormonism
A Voice of Warning to all the Nations of the Earth
In this time of great commotion, it is hard to know where to turn for real wisdom and knowledge. I am just a simple man, working to support a family and to do the best I can in this life. I have a wonderful life that includes a great wife and two adorable kids. I have a good job that has allowed me to build a nice home and has provided for my needs. I am surrounded by family and friends that love and care about me. As I write these things I do it in hesitation for fear of what affects it may have on me and my family and friends. However I know the things I write are important in nature and it would be hard to live with myself if I didn’t stand up for what I believe in. I am not a writer but I hope as you read my words you will be able to see the importance of the message I want to share.
The last several years, god has touched my understanding and I have begun to see things in a new light of things that are going on in the world. I feel a strong desire to enlighten my fellow man so they may know what is going on. Some of you may be asking, “Who are the Mormons and what do they have to do with me?”
I called this work “The Key To Mormonism” to share with you some insights of this peculiar people. I also wanted to show you how Mormons will have a direct impact on you and your life. For the most part, Mormons are a good and delightsome people. They are dedicated to their religion and they try to live by its teachings. I am a Mormon and I love the Mormon people as I do all people. You may know a Mormon family or have seen the Mormon Missionaries walking down the street, riding their bikes or knocking on your door. My younger brother is currently serving a mission. I am sure that you would agree that they deserve only love and respect. Mormons have made many contributions to the world.
Some of the things that I shall write may have never been considered by Mormons or Non-Mormons. However, I feel that they should be made known to all people and that they can make the decision to believe them or not. Some of you have heard of the Book of Mormon. Some of you have even had the chance to read it. I do want it to be known that I do believe in the Book of Mormon but have no desire to make you believe in it. I only use it to show the things that I want to share with you.
In Ether, Chapter 8 of the Book of Mormon it warns us Gentiles to watch out for Secret Combinations that are built up to get power and gain. It warns of one secret combination that seeks to destroy the freedom of all men in all lands, nations, and countries. It tells us that when we see these things come among us that we should awake to a sense of our awful situation. Now I know that there are many secret combinations that threaten us in the world today. However, it has been made known unto me by God, of one in particular that has been working for quit sometime. One that is known by the world for doing good but in secret is planning to make all people a member of it so it can control them.
Alright you are probably asking, “What is this Secret Combination and what does it have to do with the Book of Mormon and the Mormon people?” Before I reveal the Secret Combination, I want to give you a little History of the Mormons, Who they are and where they came from. Many of you know that the Founder of the Mormon Church was Joseph Smith Jr. I do believe that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God but I do not expect you to.
Joseph Smith said that an angel told him that his name should be had for good and evil among all nations, kindred’s, and tongues or that it should be both good and evil spoken of it among all people. There are tons of good things that have been said about what Joseph Smith did as there is a lot of evil spoken about the bad things he did. The real evil that will be spoken about Joseph Smith will not be what he did but rather what he failed to do.
To fully understand the purpose of Joseph Smith we have to look back at the history of man and God’s dealings with them. I know that some of you have given up hope or faith in God that is alright; you will still be able to see what I am writing about.
Throughout history, God has given two great commandments, “Love God, and Love your fellow man.” Satan puts it in the hearts of men to love riches and hate other men. Whenever a people of God have been on the earth Satan has tried to break it up. God created all men equal and wanted them to be free and Satan has always tried to make men unequal and bring them into bondage of other men. Satan has done this in many ways. Satan often uses men and organizations to accomplish his desires. He will even use religion to do this. Throughout history, religions have been the cause of many wars and strife among men. That is because Satan gets a hold of the leaders of such organizations and the people start to build up churches unto themselves to get gain and power over their fellow man.
When Joseph Smith was a boy there was much excitement about the subject of religion. To make a long story short, he read in the Bible, James 1:5&6, which says if any man lack wisdom let him ask God. Through his faith and actions he was called to be a Prophet. Over the next several years he was instructed to do many things for the glory of God. He was to bring forth the Book of Mormon, which he was told contained the fullness of the gospel, and to restore the true church of Jesus Christ in order to build up the kingdom of God on the earth. The Lord told Joseph Smith that Satan would gain great power over the hearts of men in these last days. That man would love money and things that man would make with their own hands more than their fellow man. That man would walk in the image of their own god and faith in the true God would become weak. This is why it was important for Joseph Smith to set up this kingdom of God.
This is what I want the world to look at! This is what the world needs to see and act as a judge to see if Joseph Smith really succeeded in building this kingdom of God on the earth!
The kingdom of God that Joseph Smith was to set up was to be a kingdom where the people were equal both spiritually and temporally. It was to be a Zion, New Jerusalem, or a kingdom like unto Enoch’s where Jesus Christ himself would come and rule among his Saints. The Lord gave revelations to Joseph Smith and others that are contained in the Doctrine and Covenants to be a guide and commandments to instruct in the building of this kingdom. One of the commandments was the Law of Consecration, where if the Saints lived it, they would be equal in all things. God wanted all men to treat his fellow man like himself and not worry about personal gain.
Joseph Smith himself was warned before obtaining the gold plates that he should not use them for the purpose of getting rich but rather to glorify god and build up his kingdom. (Joseph Smith –History 1:46. The Lord also warned the early Saints that if they didn’t put all effort into building up his kingdom and obey his commandments that they would start building up unto themselves churches to get gain. He told them that if they did this they would not be building up his kingdom but rather they would build up the kingdom of the Devil. D&C 10:53-56. The Lord told them that if they followed his commandments he would establish his kingdom among them and all nations would know that it was the kingdom of God. He also told them that if they failed they would be as Salt that had lost its Savor and be of no more good but to be cast out. The Lord told them that he was going to do a marvelous work among them either for their benefit or to their destruction. 1 Nephi 14:5-7.
As a person takes an honest look at Mormon history, you will see what happened. The Saints were doing well at keeping the commandments. They overcame trials and hardships and they were able to build a Temple in Kirtland, Ohio. At the dedication many claimed to see angles and Joseph and others received many Heavenly Visitors. Their faith or knowledge in God grew very strong. After a while it became time to build up this Zion or New Jerusalem in order for Christ to rule among them. The Lord told them that Jackson County Missouri was to be the location for Zion. As time went on the early Saints began to have pride enter into their hearts and started to be disobedient to the commandments that they were given. God did exactly what he said he would do if they did not obey him. He allowed them to be kicked out of Missouri at the hands of Mobs and Militias and allowed for all sorts of pestilence to follow them. That was the end of the Latter Day Saints and the Kingdom of God!
Now you are probably wondering, “Wait a minute, the Mormons are still a mighty people and are still claiming to be building up the kingdom of their God. This is where the people of the world must take a serious look at the Mormon people. After the Saints were kicked out of Missouri for disobedience and some of their leaders were put in prison, they eventually ended up in a place called Commerce, Illinois where they built a beautiful city which they named Nauvoo. Unlike the picture that the LDS church tries to paint about this period in church history, it was a time of great confusion for the early Saints. I bet many wondered where God was at this time of great trial. What they did not realize was that God told them that if they did not keep his commandments, he would slowly withdraw from them and allow them to be turned over to the buffetings of Satan. They would be like all other people that rejected God’s word they would be driven by other men and all sorts of judgments would follow them.
I do not know exactly how it happened but I want you to see the change in this people. Some time after Joseph Smith got out of jail and joined the Saints in Nauvoo he was different. Many started to see changes in his leadership and several claimed he was a fallen prophet. There started to be divisions in the people and some of Joseph’s most loyal supporters started turning against him.
Here were a people that wanted direction in what they should do. They had not hearkened to the Laws of God and failed to build up his kingdom and were cast out. Now this was a perfect time for Satan to make his move. Satan feared this people. They had the knowledge to disrupt the kingdom he had been building since the beginning of the Earth. They had almost established a city like Enoch had but now they had fallen into confusion. Oh the Devil thought to himself, “I can use this people!” So instead of focusing on destroying the early Saints he tried to get to where he could lead them. He put it into the hearts of Joseph Smith and other leaders to use the church to get power and gain. Secret councils arose, one of which was the Council of the Fifty. In this council members planned on creating a mighty organization that would grow in power until when all the governments of the world failed, it would be there to pick them up and be able to govern all people. They voted to make Joseph Smith to be their king and it got to the point where they decided that Joseph Smith should also be president of the United States. Some of the Saints didn’t like this power hunger and their started to be divisions in the financial aspects of the members. The church was being used to get gain. Joseph started teaching many new doctrines that were not contained in the Book of Mormon or the Book of Commandments (The original Doctrine and Covenants which was published in 1833). The most significant of these doctrines were Plural Marriage and Baptisms for the dead. These new teachings brought many questions in the minds of the members of the church. People that were once close to Joseph soon seen the changes in his leadership and left the church. Things eventually got so bad that Joseph and his brother Hyrum were killed in Carthage Jail.
After the death of Joseph Smith there was even more confusion and no one knew for sure who should be their leader. Some thought that Joseph’s son should be their leader. Some thought that the president of the quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Brigham Young should be their leader. Satan knew the heart of Brigham Young. He knew that he was strong, proud, and a good leader. He also knew that Brigham Young was not above using the church to get money and power. Satan knew that the truths that Joseph taught about God and his kingdom were deeply rooted in the hearts of the Latter Day Saints. If he would be able to lead them and get them to turn against what they knew to be true, it would take a long time and a lot of work. It would take an extraordinary man to accomplish his desires. Brigham Young was the perfect candidate.
The only problem was that even Brigham Young, after some time of questioning the doctrine of Plural Marriage, finally accepted it. This was a problem because many of the Saints knew in their hearts it was wrong and would not accept it. That was Okay because the Devil only wanted members in his kingdom that would follow him. He settled with the people that would follow Brigham Young to the West. As you look at the teachings of Brigham Young, you will see all manner of new and false doctrine among those that he was taught by Joseph Smith. Just a few are Adam-God Theory, Blood –Atonement, and the inferiority of the Blacks. He wouldn’t even allow some Black male members to enter the temple even though Joseph Smith gave them the Priesthood.
Even though Satan got them to accept polygamy and other false doctrines mingled with scripture he could not get them to give up the belief that they were to build the kingdom of God on the Earth. Even up until the late 1900’s many of Brigham Young's successors taught that the faithful Saints would go back and build up Zion and live the Law of Consecration. Here is just a look of the teachings of Lorenzo Snow.
These principles of union, which the Latter-day Saints in former times ignored, and in consequence of disobedience to them, were driven from Missouri, are called by different names—United Order, Order of Enoch, the principles of Union of the Celestial Law, etc. When we search the revelations of God in regard to them, we see that wherever the Gospel of the Son of God has been revealed in its fullness, the principles of the United Order were made manifest, and required
to be observed. The system of union, or the Order of Enoch, which God has taken so much pains to reveal and make manifest, has been, and is, for the purpose of uniting the Latter-day Saints, the people of God, and preparing them for exaltation in his celestial kingdom, and also for the purpose of preparing them here on this earth to live together as brethren, that they may become one in all matters that pertain to their worldly affairs, as well as their spiritual interests, that they may become one—one in their efforts, one in their interests—so that there shall be no poor found in the midst of the Latter-day Saints, and no moneyed aristocracy in the midst of the people of God, but that there should be a union, an equality. (Journal of Discourses, Volume 19, #48 Lorenzo Snow)
All through these years, the humble Latter Day Saints, have yearned for the day when they would be called to go back and build up Zion or the Kingdom of God on the earth. They knew by doing this they could bring peace to a world which was full of confusion. Well of course Satan would never give such a call. He wanted a kingdom where man would not be free to act for himself, but he wanted to act upon them. He didn’t want a kingdom where men were equal, but he wanted man to be in bondage to other men. He wanted a powerful people to build a kingdom where all men were subject to him.
If he was going to have a strong people to build up his kingdom, he needed a man like Brigham Young. Not a man that wanted to go back and build up Zion, but a man that wanted power and gain to build up Satan’s earthly Kingdom. He found his man, a man that idealized Brigham Young for all his accomplishments. This man was Gordon B. Hinckley. I am not saying that President Hinckley was a bad man. He was the President of the church the majority of my life. I am just saying that like all devote Mormons they do not know what God they follow.
In the last couple of decades, Satan has put it into the hearts of the faithful Mormons that the purpose of the church is no longer to prepare them and the world for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. He has now turned their hearts to save their own souls have eternal families and redeem those that have died. Satan has kept them really busy in other things so they have not done what their fathers failed to do.
Under the leadership of Gordon B. Hinckley and Thomas S. Monson, Mormons have become a very powerful people. However, because of pride and disobedience of God’s commandments they have became a strongly blinded people to what God really wants of them. That is to go back and redeem Zion so God’s work can progress. However the majority of Mormons continues to build up their own wealth and unknowingly continue to help Satan build up his earthly kingdom.
If anyone tells you that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the Kingdom of God on the earth, believe them not. For when the real Kingdom of God is built up, Jesus Christ will be the King of it!
Okay you probably didn’t think the Mormon Church was the Kingdom of God anyway, why should you care about this earthly kingdom of Mormons? The LDS church puts on a very pleasant face. The church is becoming well known for all the good that it does. Many tune into the non denominational production of The Music and the Spoken Word and are well aware of the accomplishments of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Mormons are well known for their commercials on Television and Radio for the importance of the family, the mission of Christ, and how to treat your fellow man. The LDS church is also well known for its extensive collection of genealogical records and programs. If you go to a LDS worship service, for the most part you will see that visitors are welcome and encouraged to join the Latter Day Saints. Over the years most of the doctrines have been adapted so that they would fit into almost any Christian religion. At first glance anyone would look at the church and think that maybe the Mormons do have everything figured out. Over the years, this church which was once at the verge of war with the United States has gained a lot of respect from many governments, religions, and charity organizations. The thing that non-Mormons and many of us devote Mormons does not realize are all of the Secret parts of the Mormon empire.
Unlike Joseph Smith’s original teachings he got out of the Book of Commandments and the Book of Mormon, the LDS church has built up an empire to get political power and gain off of the backs of its faithful members. They have completely turned their backs on the Law of Consecration as contained in the Doctrine and Covenants, which would allow them to build up the kingdom of God. They don’t even teach about this Law in the book, Teachings of Presidents of the Church, Joseph Smith, that they use in Priesthood and Relief Society. This is further proof, that Satan has put it in the hearts of the members, not to go back and redeem Zion in Missouri.
Now there is no doubt that most of the faithful Mormons think that they are building this kingdom of God in modern times. In the pride of their hearts they think that the world would be a better place if everyone would just live like the Mormons. There is some truth to this. Many Mormon teachings do give guidance in a disturbed world. However, in trying to pick the mote out of their neighbor’s eye they forget the beam in their own eye. There is no doubt that the LDS church tries to be a light to the world but in so doing they are doing the same thing Satan has been doing since the beginning of the world. Satan has always worked to take away the free agency of man and bring them into bondage to the laws of other men. Throughout history, God has sent humble men or prophets to teach the people God’s will, call them to repentance, and warn them of God’s Judgments if they did not hearken to God’s words.
All men, if they are humble can repent of their sins and through the Atonement of Jesus Christ and start a Christ like life. God is no respecter of persons and he will show anyone the mysteries of his kingdom.
I know that some of you might think that I am crazy or that I am just a fanatic. I know that some of you do not believe in God or Jesus Christ. Some of you may believe in Buddha, Allah, or you may not believe in any God. That is fine and that is your right. Even Joseph Smith taught that that is how it should be. The problem is that Satan has gotten the Faithful members of the Mormon Church to have all faith in their leaders and will do anything they are asked to do. Regardless of what you believe, the leaders of the LDS church have it set in their hearts that they will set up a kingdom that will rule all other kingdoms or people. For many years they have been working to this end and they believe that there is nothing that can stop it.
I want to take a minute and write to the leaders of the world. I know that many dignitaries and leaders of nations have been invited to come to Salt Lake City and learn about the Mormon people. I know that the leaders of the church have treated you with great respect and showed you the progress of this earthly kingdom. I do not know what has been said and what arrangements have been made behind closed doors. The leaders of the church say in their hearts, “No man knows our doings”. They forget that God knows all of their doings. I guess what I am trying to say is that the Leaders of the LDS church are not your friends. They are trying to buy up land and corporations in all of your countries. (They tell members of the church that this is only for Welfare purposes) They are trying to get faithful members in leadership positions in all governments. They are positioning themselves to be ready so when all the governments collapse they will be there to pick up the pieces. Now you may think that I am just making all this up. However, if you take an honest look at the LDS church’s influence in United States Politics you will know that there is some truth to my words.
The LDS church also has a strong hold on media, especially in Utah and surrounding areas. They are even getting a stronghold on national media. The LDS church seeks out influential men and women and uses them for their benefit. Just one example is Glenn Beck. I do not spend a lot of time watching talk shows, but I do enjoy watching Glenn Beck. I do not agree with everything he says, but I think he is a man of vision and he does care about the United States. He is not scared to stand up for what he believes in even if it may bring on personal persecution. Glenn is a great leader and knows how to get people motivated in a cause. That is a very valuable asset to any organization. While you watch Glenn Beck you will see him bring up Mormon topics and Mormon people such as John Huntsman and Ezra Taft Benson. Now I know these are great men and they deserve to be recognized for their accomplishments. However I think it is interesting that he puts down certain groups that go against United States values and holds up these men who are members of the church. The same church that after Joseph Smith was killed, made an oath in their temple to always teach their kids that God would destroy the United States.
For along time the LDS church has tried to hide their history and some of the doctrines that were taught. They have viewed the FLDS church as a thorn in their side because the FLDS church shows how the LDS church was about one hundred years ago. There have been many men throughout the history of the church that knew that something had gone terribly wrong. These men would take any that would follow them and they would start their own church. They usually would revise the doctrine that was being taught at the time. They didn’t realize that in order to teach the true gospel of Jesus Christ they had to go back to the teachings in the Book of Commandments, The Book of Mormon, and the Bible. Back to the teachings of Joseph Smith before Satan began giving the guidance. I know that men that tried to point out the corruptness that had entered the church were cast out just like men in the Book of Mormon were. Members were told that such men were apostate and could not be trusted.
I know that there are thousands if not hundreds of thousands who have left or have went inactive at seeing the hypocrisy of leaders and members who claim to live Christ like lives and go against Christ’s teachings. I also know that people that have decided to leave the church are often treated with disrespect. They are labeled as apostate and some have even faced persecution from members and sometimes family. Many of those that realize all the untruths that surround the church, fall away and stop believing in God altogether.
To those people I want to write for a moment. In my mind, I respect you because many of you knew that something was not right with the church. You probably could not follow blind faith and could not find explanations to your doubts. You may have been like me and knew that God would not do some of the things the church does. You made the decision to act for yourself and leave the church rather than to stay and be acted upon and pretend to believe in something you knew in your heart was not true. If you happen to see what I am writing in this work you will see that God was mindful of you and helped you open your eyes to the things that were being taught in the church which were untrue. You probably realized that the church was using the doctrine of Eternal families (which almost all men would wish for) to make the members follow the prophet in anyway he wanted to take the church.
I know there are many of you that are on web sites still trying to find the truth. I hope that maybe the things that I have written will help you in finding the truth. I know that if someone finds some truth that goes against what is being taught in the church and tries to share it, the church does have ways of silencing that person. I have been a victim of their silencing efforts first hand. I know they use intimidation of church discipline.
To you that have realized the truth about the church, I view you as the strong ones and ask for your help. I am going to continue to try to open the eyes of the faithful members so they can see the truth. You know how hard it can be to make the transition. You can do a lot to help them. As more and more come to the truth, Satan’s power to blind them will become less and less. Satan only wants followers in his kingdom not leaders. You can be the leaders. Some of you may hesitate and think that you have no authority. What did Jesus teach in the Doctrine and Covenants? If you have desires to serve God, ye are called to the work. Regardless of if you believe in God still or not, you know that some of the things the church is doing is wrong. So continue to try to find the truth and continue to have compassion with those that have chosen to leave the church. Maybe some of the future events will strengthen your faith in God and you will know that God has a work for you to do.
I would like to write to those church historians who tried to show events of church history the way they really happened. I know that some of you have been persecuted for your efforts. I respect you for trying to show the truth. Now to those church historians and others who knowingly tried to whitewash, cover-up, or change the history of the church to paint a rosy picture in the eyes of the members. You are worse than liars. Anti-Mormons know more about the true history of the church than you do. I know that the church tries hard to hide its true history. The thing is history is history, you can not change it. If you try you are purposely deceiving your fellow man.
To you new converts to the church, who do not have deep roots in it, I know that you have been faithful to what you have been taught. All of the doctrines made sense and you probably had no reason to question it. My heart goes out to you and your families in seeing that these things have fallen upon you. The words of the Book of Mormon and the unchanged parts of the Doctrine and Covenants are true. However you have been taught many precepts of men mingled with scripture. You need to seek the true spirit of God in finding out what is true and what God would have you do.
Now I want to write to the older generation of Mormons, members like me whose ancestors in the church go back to the time of Joseph Smith. Do you think God is pleased with us? I do not think so. We are fools! Our fathers must have been worse than fools. God entrusted our fathers and us to build up his kingdom on the earth and what did we do? We lifted ourselves up with pride, being God’s chosen people, but after almost two hundred years we still have not done his will. We have allowed ourselves to believe all manner of false doctrines and went against God’s wisdom and put our trust in Man. No doctrine has been more damaging to us than the doctrine that our prophet would never lead us astray. No where in the Holy Scriptures, has God ever made such a promise to any people. To the contrary, we see in the Book of Mormon and the Bible, where the leaders of the people caused the people to err. The leaders of our church can act as prophets as long as their teachings are in accordance with all the teachings of ancient prophets who wrote God’s word in the scriptures.
Out of all the Presidents of the church in my life time, Ezra Taft Benson was the one that even tried to be a true prophet of God. Throughout his leadership he spoke of the Book of Mormon and taught of the condemnation that rested on the whole church. D&C 84:48-59 He also taught that it was Pride that led to the destruction of the Nephites. He truly tried to get the members to overcome this condemnation and have real faith in the Book of Mormon. Satan would not want that! It is interesting to think if maybe that is why Ezra Taft Benson was silenced. He was getting to close to the truth.
Anyway do you think we can do the same things that God told the Nephites not to do and expect to escape the judgments of God. I say unto you, Nay! We read the scriptures but must not understand them. Do we even know where we fit in the scriptures? Oh, the ancient prophets wrote about us, but because of the pride of our hearts some of us can not see it. Do we honestly think that we can live in our sinful ways and still return to that god that gave us life? I feel some of us believe that as long as we go to church, pay our tithing, and go to the temple we can live however we want because we will be able to live the rest of the commandments during the millennium. If the scriptures are true, and I know that they are, this can not be true. If we know God’s will concerning us and our responsibility to redeem Zion and do it not, we are under condemnation. In D&C 88:100 says if we are under condemnation we will not even be resurrected until after the millennium. Maybe God was not kidding when he said, "This life is the time to prepare to meet God.” Do we not realize that we are the rebellious ones spoken of in the First Section of the Doctrine and Covenants and it will be our sins that are spoken from the roof tops?
We must humble ourselves, we must repent and we must not only learn God’s will but we must do God’s will. Do we not understand that by neglecting our responsibility to redeem Zion that all the blood and sins of this generation will fall on our heads? Read Mormon Chapter 8 in the Book of Mormon, the prophets truly saw our day.
Now I know that there are many men in leadership positions in the church that are truly striving to do the best they can in serving the people they are over. I love and respect you for your efforts and service. I know that most of you truly have desires to do what you feel is right. I have always thought that it was good local leaders that kept the church going and I feel sorry for the burdens that you have had to bare.
It is the leaders of the church who have purposely built it up to get power and gain that I want to give the strongest warning. God knows your doings! The day is coming when all your works will be turned on your own heads. May God and the people have mercy upon you when the world realizes what you have done. May I suggest some reading, 1 Nephi 22:12-19 and relate it to your situation.
I know that many that will read my words will laugh and mock at them. However, I have to stand true to what I know to be true. I know that Joseph Smith received many important revelations not only for Latter Day Saints but for all people. God told Joseph Smith that the early Saints would have the gospel through him. However he commanded Joseph to record all of his revelations in the Doctrine and Covenants for a wise purpose for the benefit of future generations. D&C 5:8-10
If Mormons and the people of the world humble themselves they can see the wisdom in this. As said in the First Section of the Doctrine and Covenants, all the promises and revelations will be fulfilled.
I want the world to know that I stand as a witness of Jesus Christ. I know that he does live and the day will soon come that he will come and reign with his true Saints. I just hope that I will be counted worthy to stand with him at that day.
Like I said before, I am not a wise man and I may have made some mistakes in my writings. However the principles and knowledge in this work I believe to be true. If you read my words and know that there is truth in them, I urge you to seek out the truth about God’s dealings with man. If the warning that I give is legitimate, I ask you to do as the scriptures say. Behold, I sent you out to testify and warn the people, and it becometh every man who hath been warned to warn his neighbor. D&C 88:81
I write these words not to bring confusion into the world but so that all men may know where they can look for true knowledge so that we all can tear down the boundaries of our differences and see eye to eye. Perhaps in so doing, the people of the world may know that God is there and he is mindful of all people and if the people of the world will turn to him we can bring peace to a troubled world.

Of course. The early Mormon leaders always taught that.

The preparatory Political Kingdom of God is built by the Saints of the Latter Days,
but is not an appendage nor function of their church.
The same Priesthood supplies leadership and oversight in the Political Kingdom as
in the Church, but they remain separate organizations until the keys to the Kingdom
are handed over to Christ in Jackson County, Missouri, at the commencement of
the Millennium. At that point Christ temporarily hold the keys, but entrusts them
back into the hands of Joseph Smith, Jr., who heads the Seventh Dispensation.
No doubt Christ will return to higher celestial realms, and it will be Brother Joseph
who will reign over the earth from the sacred throne-room in the holy of holies of
the Jackson County Temple.
The preparatory Political Kingdom of God does not rule over the entire earth:
it is slowly built up, a little here and a little there, until it has crushed all kingdoms
and all sects -- but it is not the Millennial Kingdom -- which will be the perfect Zion
of this planet.

Holy cow, I can't believe I made it through that whole post. Please, Shixon, learn to summarize! And use paragraph breaks.
But, welcome to the board anyway. For some reason we do seem to attract a number of "the Church is in Apostasy" type Mormons amid all the exmos and NOMs, so you should fit in fine.

Paragraph breaks.
If ever Satan knew any man's heart, that man was Ezra Taft Benson. No wait, I mean Glenn Beck.

Funny how these folks always latch onto a specific prophet and badmouth the rest. Sounds like a cafeteria Mormon to me.
