No, I'm not talking about your temple endowments.

Have you taken out your credit cards and become money changers in the City Creek Mall?

After all, the mouthpiece of god has proclaimed, 'let's go shopping!'

How long can a good TBM go without having sojourned to downtowin SLC and taken out his ... credit card to make a purchase?

Has your bishop asked you if you've been to CCM yet?

He can go shopping at the new mall. I can't even go shopping at my own mall very often, which is not nearly as upscale as City Creek. Months go by and I don't even pull into the parking lot.

I make 6 figures a year, and I shop at Walmart, Costco, and the outlet mall. Maybe I'd go to the mall more often if they had trout to watch, but alas... my mall is much less entertaining.

Probably because of that tiny little loincloth you're sporting.

This whole City Creek Center sends a mixed message. For the last several years the conference talks and Ensigns have really drilled the phrase "Provident Living" into the membership's head. Provident Living is all about getting by with less, staying out of debt, and saving money. Now all of a sudden its 1,2,3 Lets go shopping. Hugo Boss, Gucci, and the like are not "provident" minded brands. So does the church just want the gentiles to spend frivolously on luxury goods while the membership keeps it provident by shopping at Wal Mart and Old Navy down the street? It makes me dizzy to think about. This mall stands against everything the church preaches in my opinion.

Jason, I am prompted by the spirit to tell you that I don't think you are a full City Creek buyer. I won't be able to sign your Zions Bank VISA recommend.
