Personally, I do not see a problem.

She has more than enough money to purchase the needed support or move her mother out there.

IMHO, any woman who views this woman as being selfish, really needs to examine her own insecurities and put away the broad brush.

I was raised in a home with a stay at home mother and knew at a young age she was not cut out to be a stay at home mother. The lives of her children would have been much more fulfilling had she been a career woman.

They need to learn how to spend less time on housework in order to spend more time being with their families, developing talents, and serving others. Housework is important, but it should not take away from more important things. Having a clean home should not be our main goal; it should be part of our goal to be happy and have happy families. We need time to develop our talents and learn to live the principles of the gospel. We should have time to serve in church positions, help our neighbors and those in need, and be good missionaries. When we keep our homes clean without spending too much time on housework, we are free to spend more time in family activities and to do other important things.

I don't think anyone who has posted on this thread thus far has any problem with females working and being successful outside of the home on an equal footing with males.

Pointing out what the Church teaches is my way of showing how disingenuous the Church is when it claims women have an equal standing with men.
