Steven Covey Lifts up His Eyes in Hell

Steven Covey.............no friend to Jesus. Today, well, as of two minutes, yesterday, was the funeral for Steven Covey. He is famous for saying "If you spend twenty minutes with Christ every day you will spend eternity with him." ??? What the heck does that mean? If you do not come unto Christ with a broken heart and contrite spirit and repent in the depths of humility you will never spend eternity with Jesus Christ. If you are not visited of the promise of the Father and wrought upon and cleansed by the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost you will not spend eternity with Christ. If you do not approach God submissively in the meekness of the depths of your whole soul and are judged right now today this, your hour of judgment, brought down upon you by your faith in Christ, today, not far off in eternity, if you do not bring the judgement of God down upon your soul in this life and are thereby conceived his seed you will not spend eternity with Christ. Taking your first twenty minutes of the day to read scripture and pray without accomplishing the real gospel is pointless in spending the rest of eternity with Christ. His sheep are known. If you are not given to come unto him with full purpose of heart and get what Christ suffered and died for to be enabled to raise you up to a state of righteousness you are none of his. Period. Now the rest of you go on and gain the whole world and teach others to excuse themselves from Christ so that they can be the most excellent gainers of all the world with schooled discipline in the arts and sciences of influencing others to cooperate with you and make you rich.

Atta boy Steven you really showed the world how to come unto Jesus Christ. Well, at least you served yourself extraordinarily well. You perverted three generations of LDS numbskulls to eat at your hand the miserable and detestable nuggets of spiritual pollution. That's as deep as your roots got.

Yeah! Damn straight. I know Covey was the mahatma of Mormonism. He seduced the LDS purposefully and took his high seat from whence he could scold us with excellence and float himself up in the air like holy man. Great merchandising and he got his reward.

Mechanically, Hinckley was more wicked. But nobody held the Great Soul position more firmly than Covey and what did he do with it? Did he validate the gospel, the hard line, that cutting edge that sets people's teeth on edge to grind as to whether or not they will bring forth fruit meet for the Father's kingdom? NO! He skated the path of perfectness after the likeness and image of the world. He did not push for Zion. Did not solve its problems. He betrayed his priesthood and his Lord.

Apostles have to be pricks. I have been called a dick more than once. The Ancient Apostles called it the offscouring of all things. The defamed filth of the world telling everyone roundly what's up. Sounds like a bunch of pricks. Why?

I Corinthians 4:13
13 Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

Because they see to it that things are done right. They correct their friends. And even rebuke at times with sharpness. They have to measure the people against the absolute standard of righteousness that is only present when the power of the gospel is. Like God told Joseph the difference is between the form of godliness and the power thereof. Big difference. The world wants all their chips to count in the Big Game but they never will count.

19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
21 What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

There is a special place in hell for those who were given a voice and were heard who refused to man up and honor Christ before their own best interests in this world. Such are not the servants of God. When covey gives out spiritual advice that is gobbled up along with his executive sweets it is beyond the pale of abomination. It is not those who can talk the talk that the world will walk by but those upon whom the power to say the words of truth in season that will count as the salt and savor men.

Any dope who can read his Book of Mormon knows what the standard of righteousness is. I saw it when I was eighteen. Then what? With Hinckleys and Coveys telling everyone basically to believe it not they are Satans for all that they speak. And so all the world is lost. But those given a voice or an office got to do everything that came into their hearts. Where was Christ served. They garner no honor but the deaths in hell.

What are you the Jailer? Nobody can discern or judge anything without being guilty of a crime? Were the offense less severe, the fire not so hot, the loss not so great, and the wickedness not so perverse we could leave judgment in the box.

I would have to say that linking me with Westboro then ignoring me is pusillanimous BS.

The guy was a business man, not a GA or a prophet. Personally, I didn't like his books or the way he presented himself. But dumping on the guy like he had some kind of holy calling and then went rogue is way over the top. He was just a business man selling himself and making money.
