I think it's pretty bold--and revealing--that the folks at Mormon Interpreter are actually providing a listing of the people who have given money to the cause:

Only one person on the list is "anonymous." And I rather suspect that this list will get deleted in the future--particularly if they start producing nasty, "classic-FARMS" apologetics.

Of course, the Mopologists were *extremely* cagey when it came to inquiries about the cash-flow at FARMS/MI, so it will be interesting to see how this develops. Notice that they are currently filing the paperwork for tax-exempt status, which means, if I understand things correctly, that we will get to see how they are disbursing their funds. For now, people have the option of "donating" via PayPal, or by giving their money directly to Dr. Peterson. I feel pretty certain that this is something that will be worth keeping an eye on.

Now, of course, we know that he got paid: it was one of his parting shots to Gerald Bradford in his email resignation. So I guess now the question is: To what extent is Mopologetics an actual money-making/"priestcraft" venture for DCP? As I noted in my OP: some of these donations are being sent directly to Dr. Peterson. What's to stop him from compensating himself for the work he's doing?

Since the list is not in alphabetical order, I wonder if may reflect the amount donated?

The whole DCP-Bradford blowup is a strong indication that it's not just money involved. It's massive ego.

It may be in the order, by date, of when the contributions were received.

At first I thought it was organized by how big of an asshole they are since Hamblin is on top. Then I saw that Schryver is in the middle so it can't be that.

Is there a minimum donation to get on the list?
I'm starting to see how and where William will get his paper published.
