10. Not everyone looks good naked.

9. Juliann Reynolds was a hell of an emcee.

8. Wade Englund really should stick with decaffeinated coffee.

7. In retrospect, “Blacks Who Really Get a Kick Out of The Osmonds” was probably not a good topic.

6. Never tell a knock-knock joke around William Schryver, he will always get up to try to answer the door.

5. Never attend an event with a 300-to-1 person to Port-a-Potty ratio.

4. Mike Ash is less popular than an all white NBA Players' All-Star Game.

3. Leisure suits will never go out of style.

2. FAIR’s lunch is pretty good if you bring your own gravy.

1. We are going to look really stupid to future generations

Probably not, because they probably won't be looking, since they're leaving in droves.

Regarding a German talk-show appearance, wherein Robin Williams was asked why he thought there wasn't much comedy in Germany, he responded, "Did you ever think it's because you killed all the funny people?"

Good joke, but Germany now is far, far from being Germany then.

German comics are now getting pretty good, though they may be a bit subtle for some tastes at times:

German stand-up comic addressing foreign audience that I heard:

"Now I've heard that you people make jokes about us Germans not having much of a sense of humor."

(Pause while he looked round resentfully)

"Well, I have to say that I just don't find that funny."

Given that much of what Americans consume in comedy is delivered with a great deal of scatology and vulgarity, the Germans don't have a chance when they work in their native language.

The German language (high German) just doesn't have a well developed scatology (as in a preoccupation with the obscene and vulgar).
