Interesting study

"Sometimes people are threatened by gays and lesbians because they are fearing their own impulses, in a sense they 'doth protest too much,'" Ryan told LiveScience."

This is not a new idea. It's been around in psychological communities for a long while. I have always assumed that the more a person is Anti-gay, the higher the likelihood that they are covering something up.

Really, why would a straight person care if someone else is gay unless they are ashamed and overcompensating for their own doubts about their sexuality?

Funny, I was thinking of Wade (and some others). I just didn't want to personalize it.

State recognition of gay marriage is not equal treatment of gays and I have experienced nary a twitch.

:surprised:

Feel free to articulate, at your leisure, what the rational basis is in law for prohibiting same-sex marriage.

It's only been two years since I've been on this board and invited you many times to do so, with no substantive response.

I think you may be suppressing the twitch. How happy would you feel if you could express and own that inner boy who longs for gay marriage?

The OP has a scientific study and everything. I thought that bcspace was one to swallow it whole whenever research about gays comes out (decide for yourselves whether a double pun was intended).

How exactly is treating gays equally with regards to marriage not equal treatment of gays?
