Laurel gives an address for the ages. She is a remarkable historian. I am very excited to see her book coming from Knopf, A House Full of Females. She talks a bit about this forthcoming volume.
Laurel's address is essential listening. I love how she makes history come a live. She reminds me of Will Bagley and his ability to make the pioneers real people. This is a quality I respect in great historians.
I have not listened to Joanna Brooks talk, but I am sure it will be a treat.
