$500.00 cash to the first person who meets the challenge

Post by _The1Guy »

The $100.00 challenge is now changed to $500.00 in the thread entitled: Chapter 13, Book of Revelation: key to our future. All of the stipulations in that thread are unchanged...only the amount offered has changed. Go to that thread and see if you can meet the challenge.

You might want to bump or link the thread you reference.

I can tell this is for the young GEEKS and not for us old BUZZARDS. I' just find an old blue outhouse I can poop on.

Good call -- if you can manage that, it's a sure sign that you are ready to embark on a kick-ass exegesis of first century apocalyptic.

I haven't read the book in question, but for $500 I'll venture a guess: it has to do Rome and more specifically with Domitian's revival of the imperial cult which invoked fearful memories of persecution under Nero, who is represented by the number 666 (the numerical value of Greek "Caesar Neron" transliterated into Hebrow) or 616, a variant appearing in some early texts (the Latin version of the name does not contain the final "n", and adds up to 616 when transliterated into Hebrew).

You may donate my winnings to the charity of your choice.

Definitely not worth $500.

Sorry, but you are way off base. Read the book. You might find yourself in it.
