Since it has been brought up in other threads, I thought I would ask.

What kinds of sexual advances justify the use of violence?

Out of all the undesired advances made towards me I have never felt the urge to punch anyone even though I have had my body touched without permission. I have had success with tongue lashings and pushing away.

So, what do you guys think? What warrants physical violence?

Violent attack justifies violence in one's self-defense.

A person attacked by a would-be rapist is totally justified in defending himself or herself. The problem is that bcspace is equating a missionary's awkward attempt at physical affection with rape. Needless to say, bcspace is an idiot.

Anyone putting the moves on me in the presence of my wife should be prepared for a whooping.

From her.

That sums it up nicely.

When I was growing up in redneck Layton, UT, in the 79'-83' era, the common thinking for "cool" dudes was that if a gay guy made a pass at you, the only legitimate response to that sexual advance was to "punch the fag" (quoting my cool redneck step brother).

That is seriously how most of the tough guy males thought in my day. Bcspace is just mimicking those old stereotypical tough guy attitudes.
