What is the collective financial loss of this board to LDS?

Given the number of folks here who were tithe paying members before they exited, I wonder how much money the members of this board is a loss of tithing to LDS Inc?

Its gotta be close to a million dollars per year. An average of only $5K/year would only need 200 exmormons to add up to a loss of one million dollars that did not make it into the coffers of LDS Inc.

Counting all of those each of us have coerced out as well as our children and future generations, it could be tens of millions.

This board generates a net profit for the Church as such things tend to drive new members into the Church and we no longer have to serve those who leave it because of this board and they never paid tithes and fasts anyway. It's a win/win.

Quite the imagination you've got there.

I have that yes, but from where I stand, I can actually see the effect on the Church for many of these things.

By definition, aren't new members already in the church?

I guess my grammar robot is malfunctioning. I could have phrased that better, yes. Perahaps "drive people to becomming members of the Church".

I wasn't very successful at converting people to Mormonism while a full believer, at least I can get them there as an unbeliever.

It is nice to know that I am more useful to God as an unbeliever. I get heaven in the future and a "normal" life outside of Mormonism now.

Win-Win.
