Question about dress

I'm sitting in sacrament meeting with my bright green chuck Taylor shoes on. I feel a little sensitive about it because every man and boy in here is wearing formal business attire. Nothing but white shirts, dark pants and black/brown, polished shoes. But then you look at the sisters and see all the colors of the rainbow. Women are so damn lucky. Where did the human race go so wrong to get us here? Why are men being punished on Sundays?

Though there is no strict dress code, Mormons do adhere to set of guidelines aimed to preserve their modesty.
Women are encouraged to stay away from tight-fitting, sheer or revealing clothing
Women are advised to keep skirts on the knee or an inch above
They should also avoid sleeveless tops and dresses and anything low cut
Men on the other hand are urged to keep 'clean' and 'neat'
Both men and women are instructed to avoid anything 'extreme' such as tattoos and over the top hairstyles

As long as you are 'clean' and 'neat' you are doing nothing against Church standards.

Amen. The answer though is that the Church is made for women. It's the only Church in the world like that. We serve women and cater to their innate style of worship. No amount of worldly feminism can compare to it. No woman is put on a higher pedestal than the Mormon woman.

You don't have a clue what feminism is even about. It's obvious by your posts.
Being put on a pedestal is no different than being put beneath. It serves to dehumanize women.

Then why don't women hold the priesthood and call the shots?

They don't need to priesthood to call the shots. However, many of you can't see this because of liberalism among you. Mormon women are conservative.
