Was it wrong for ex-Scientologists to disclose the secret, highest-level teachings of Scientology regarding the
galactic warlord Xenu, and how his use of psychiatrists to exterminate his alien subjects is the cause of all the problems in the world today?

Um, duh, not it was not wrong. Scientology is not true. And since it's not true any vows of secrecy anyone makes are void. Mormonism is true. So, vows of secrecy are always legitimate.

I think this thread (in conjunction with Liz's) will show that bcspace is better at asking questions than he his at answering them...

Exactly. As the one and only true church on Earth, Mormonism has special rights.

The difference may be that someone did not pass oneself off as a member in good standing or belief condition in order to video an esoteric ritual. So the correct answer to this OP is likely to be no. The correct answer to my OP question, to avoid general hypocrisy, was no. Darth J didn't give it.
Exactly. As the one and only true church on Earth, Mormonism has special rights.
Agreed. It all depends on ones pov of course though one has to recognize there can only be one true "paradigm" or, truth is truth in all paradigms. But setting aside the issue of whether or not the Church is true, the aforementioned hypocrisy is still illustrated by taking and releasing the LDS temple video and those who agree with it by the reason mentioned above.
