Why are the temple endowed to keep their new names a secret?

Is there a concern that the unendowed will be able to use it and the tokens to get passed the sentries guarding the way into the CK?

Well, that was the fear in the past, but after some trouble of that nature the gate guards at the Celestial Kingdom's Checkpoint Charlie have switched to bar codes. Since then not a single devil has gained entrance by spoofing the handshakes and knowing the names.

Because husbands own wives in the Celestial Kingdom, but wives don't own husbands.

The Grand Key Word is the secret name of God. Your new name is connected to your resurrection and deification.

I think it is quite clear that we will be using these stones with our names in them for a giant celestial game in which everyone sits around and tries to guess the name in your stone. You do little actions (no words!) to provide clues to the masses. It will be a form of entertainment for the poor folk living in the lower kingdoms.

quark, your supposition makes the CK more enticing than any description I ever heard as an active TBM.

It was such a let down to realize all the other men that day were also given the name "Fabio".

"Grand Key Word"? Is that something they tell you in the 2nd Anointing, Reverend?
