Given all the attention that the Romney campaign has directed to Mormonism and its Bat S*** Crazy ways, do you think Tommy "Let's All Have Some Pie"" Monson has ordered Romney to throw the election?
I mean you can't do much more to hurt your chances than Romney has done since the Temple Endowment Ceremony went onto YouTube. It can't be a coincidence.

in my opinion the media seems a little more preoccupied with the usual politics, but if Romney were to win then I think the media would for a number of months really focus on his religion. This would not be good, so losing the election would be better for the church's bottom line. If he wins the attention may help to cause change faster as less people want to join, and more people stop believing.

I don't see how having a Mormon President could be good for the church in the long run.

not at all convinced. I cannot imagine LDS leadership not wishing Mit to win. I cannot imagine them not wishing to be known.
I think Mit is being true to himself.

I doubt the leaders understand the problem with Mitt winning or being more known.

For tithing money, probably not. It would create more pressure to change for the better.
