Jesus and Einstein

I have been listening to conservative talk radio. On thing that just keeps coming up is the implicit identification of success (making something of oneself) with business success.
In regard to being a successful human being, I have question or two:
Was Einstein a maker or a taker? Was he a job creator or a moocher?
How about Imanuel Kant or George Cantor?
Did Hawking's real contributions only begin with the success of his popular books for laypeople?
Are most virtuoso cellists successful human beings?
How about my favorite high school history teacher?
What was Jesus' profit margin? Savy businessman? Moocher?
Was he in the 47% of his day? In the 1%? What was his problem with those money changers, er, I mean job creators in the temple.
What's up with the loaves? Is that some kind of entitlement? Should those people have just gone out and gotten rich life worthy humans do?

He didn't seem to have a problem with making money
per se.
What did he tell us to make friends with and why after the parable of the Unjust Steward? Why did he liken the kingdom of Heaven to an investor who punished the man who didn't earn interest on the money he gave him in the parable of the Talents? Why does he encourage one to lay up treasures in heaven where he will give you a mansion IF your performance is acceptable?
What's up with the loaves? Is that some kind of entitlement?
Did he continue to feed them day after day? Did he rob someone else to get the loaves in the first place?
Could it be that Jesus is a Free Market Capitalist? He certainly models heaven and salvation on those principles........

Either it was an analogy and he was really concerned about spiritual values (possesed by many non-job creators) or it was because he was really giving us a lesson in business.
Which do ya think? Huh?
Maybe Jesus made a buck or two but he was no Donald Trump!

The former which is why your example in this context is non sequitur.
Maybe Jesus made a buck or two but he was no Donald Trump!
Greater works than these shall he do..........
Yeah, Jesus is a Free Market Capitalist and it exudes from his doctrine; past and present. But many of you fail to see this parable which is that the market is neutral, just like agency. It's the individual who brings the good or evil, but it must be done in the free market (under agency) which is God's plan. There is no other venue under which a person can be properly tested, judged, show true charity, and ultimately made fit for heaven (refined).

Check out
Obama's privileged childhood:
Millions of oil dollars
Economic elites
Exclusive neighborhoods
Beautiful parks
Cozy streets
Luxurious housing
Banking VP
Prestigious private schools
Island elites
Isn't Obama considered to be Jesus nowadays?

Great OP.
Been thinking about Romney's statements to supporters as well. According to Mitt Romney, my ex-mormon business partner and I are both government-dependent low-life moochers.
I pay no income tax because I live and work overseas. Same with my business partner who operates from another country. We are dependent on the Government because our business in the US, when it succeeds, does so largely because of the passage and enforcement of reasonable environmental legislation.
So we both definitely qualify as members of Romney's 47% class.
In spite of our status as non-income-tax-paying moochers, our companies are doing a lot to help improve the lives of the less privileged Muslims in the Middle East and Hindus in India using American technology.
More importantly, we are repatriating money made by our companies overseas to the US and creating jobs for technical support staff as well as manufacturing and support companies there (yes, America can still manufacture stuff that folks overseas will buy). This money comes almost entirely from governments outside the US. Some of this money flows to these governments from the sale of oil to the US or from the operation of call centers for US companies.
In both social and economic terms, our companies are examples of how wrongheaded Romney's stated worldview is regarding the value of individuals who pay no tax and depend on the government policies (sort of like Romney depends on his tax loopholes) .
Romney was right about one thing though: everyone in our companies is going to be voting for President Obama.

He created wealth out of thin air by exercising his power as King. Sounds like Big Government to me.

successful human being ???
(You may call this whole entry offtopic)
I don't care Einstein - he is dead.
I don't care Jesus - he may have been never existed.
I don't care Obama - he is YOUR leader. (Our main problem is Viktor Orbán...)
It is about ME and MY WIFE.
We have 5 children, 19 grandchildren (20th is in progress...)
We are definitely poor.
Ultimately as lieutenant colonel, vice leader of the military college's radar department (O-5 category...) in my life I've taught 800-1000 radar operators, maintainers, engineers.
My wife, math teacher, has taught the same amount of pupils from primary to college level.
Today, our pension is 8000 + 4000 $. (/year...)
As an active, my salary was 1/8 of
U.S. uniformed services pay grade.

My literal opinion about god's plan would be far under the "outer darkness" level. Our language is very rich in words could be substituted with "
*"s.
