The first, of course, was the "Mitt Romney" temple video and all of the hype surrounding that. Siri, from Five, iPhone, just reminded me that Mike Nortinksi's promised release date has come and gone without so much as an Instagram shot of our soon-to-be president elect in temple garb.

The second unkept promise is one that was made over 500 days ago and Siri didn't have to remind me of. Bishop Crockett (a.k.a. YahooBot) offered to buy me lunch in Los Angeles over two years ago. I've been trying to take him up on the offer, but without any luck.


Bonus broken promise: Dr. Shades did promise to restore the infamous deleted Nortinski thread discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=24725&hilit=nortinski%Second Amendment

The video never appeared, so the time isn't right. Nevertheless, if Nortinski gives me the O.K. to restore the threads, then I'll happily do so.

Nort already did, he said he did not care. He posted such in a thread Toronto created right around the time nort had his thread removed.....

He said that he doesn't care if people link to cached versions of the threads.

It may be a distinction without a difference, but a promise is a promise. This is no longer about what Nortinski is or isn't willing to have exposed; it's about my integrity.

But the problem remains, Bob still won't buy me lunch as promised almost two years ago.

I have screen caps and pdfs of one his threads, and since he does not care that they are reposted I see sauteed I can do.
