Public Apology Issued on Behalf of Scott Gordon

Yet once again, it falls on me to publicly issue an apology for the markedly un-Christian behavior of various individuals who are LDS in name only.
As such, I humbly offer an apology for the poor choices that Scott Gordon has made in regards to snitching on David Twede. Snitching is not only harshly condemned in the Bible and Torah, but snitching on someone for behavior which is in no way innappropriate is simply evil and of the devil.
I am ashamed of Scott Gordon, both professionally and personally for his poor choice of actions. He should be held accountable.
I am very pleased that cooler heads prevailed and that the leadership of the Church put a stop to this madness.
The real tragedy is that Scott Gordon's inappropriate behavior has caused David Twede and his family much stress and anxiety.
I think that if any disciplinary council needs to be held, it should be for Scott Gordon. Not only has he repeatedly lied and intentionally mislead in various presentations, but he has born false witness against David Twede. He is a very bad example of how LDS should act and treat one another.
All I can say is that it is a good thing Scott Gordon is not a member of my Ward or he would be facing a disciplinary council.

We all know a real bishop would never have posted this.

I understand the Star Chamber has been postponed.
Being booted for having a difference of opinion does not sound good when reported in the mainstream media. Maybe they will be allowed to proceed against Mr. Twede for not eating meat sparingly - after the election.

Real bishops realize that there is never anything LDS that warrants an apology.
by the way, thanks for the humanity, Everybody Wang Chung.

Unfortunately, several times in my life I have been forced to apologize for figures within the Latter-day Saints Super Defenders Committee.
For instance, the majestic, talented, and ladder climbing professional journalist Scott Lloyd has gotten into a silly pickle or two such as when he accused the MI of apostasy:
http://www.mormondiscussions.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=601399It should be noted that I resent folks stating that Scott Lloyd is more of Nancy Drew type of reporter receiving basically a subsidized salary from the Church in order to participate as a quasi-blogger for a silly faith promoting news paper called Deseret News. This is an entirely wrong statement.
I can only hope that my Christian efforts have not fallen on deaf ears.

Well no, it doesn't fall on you; as you know, you have no standing to apologise on behalf of any Latter-day Saint anywhere. You are merely grandstanding for the entertainment of your fellow apostates and Mormon-haters.

Really? Who, for instance?

And how do you plan to bring that about? By "snitching" on him?
Everybody Wang Chung wrote:I am very pleased that cooler heads prevailed and that the leadership of the Church put a stop to this madness.
What "madness?"
That one of your fellow-apostates won't be held accountable for attempting to entice people out of the Church? I realise that such a thing would make you mad, but that isn't quite the same as "madness," is it?
Everybody Wang Chung wrote:The real tragedy is that Scott Gordon's inappropriate behavior has caused David Twede and his family much stress and anxiety.
What "stress and anxiety?" What makes you think he actually values his membership in the Church?

CFR, please.

Something that actual bishops know is that they have no jurisdiction when it comes to the membership of Mechizedek Priesthood holders.
Now I'd like to publicly issue an apology on behalf of some people who are LDS in name only. Such as one who told a participant here that his daughters were "crackheads" and that they were out "turning tricks."
I think that person ought to face a disciplinary council, don't you?
Regards,
Pahoran

Are you suggesting a poster such as Wild Bill Schyrver or Brandt Gardner said something like this? CFR, I would love to see the evidence. I realize they get carried away but I do not believe your statement is valid. I await your evidence to backup the charges.
I also would like to take the time to formerly apologize for Pahoran on behalf of those that have needed to formerly apologize for LDS in name. Apologizing for those LDS in name only is something that cannot be taken lightly. I hope everyone accepts my warmest regards.

Hello Pahoran,
I fully support the Church and their decision to put a stop to the unfounded persecution of David Twede.
I support the Bible and Torah's teaching that snitching is evil.
I also support the 9th Commandment, "Thou Shall Not Bear False Witness".
Finally, I believe that lying, intentionally misleading and fabricating evidence when making public presentations is contrary to the teachings of the Savior.
It's too bad that you and Scott Gordon feel that there is nothing wrong with these types of behaviors. You both are causing much harm to the Church and will be held accountable someday.
Remember me in therapy,
Everybody Wang Chung

I've sent the evidence to you via PM. If you want screen shots, as I said, I'll provide them. It's very "heart-warming" to hear an
alleged bishop in the Church refer to one's daughters as "drug addicts" and "prostitutes".
You're going down a thorny path if you haven't yet grasped the
total depravity and hypocrisy of many in this place.
