Define "don't adhere to the Law of Chastity." Next, define what rights should be taken away from them, and why.

Thank you.

Is it really imperative that they inform the world that they are gay?
If there was total social acceptance would they not have any feelings of being at odds with something?

If there was total social acceptance of gays, I doubt they'd feel the need to tell everyone they're gay. Problem solved. (if there's really a problem here)

And no, I don't think it's imperative that they tell us they're gay. And of course not all do. They're dealing with a society in which a vast number of people think really evil things about them. I don't understand what that's like, and cannot form an informed opinion on why those who point out their sexuality do so. It seems important to those people that others know. Who are you to say it isn't?

If there was total social acceptence would they not have any feelings of being at odds with somthing?

And the biggie ... should marriage be redefined?

I say yes on the marriage issue because its been trampled all over allready.

I say we take away rights for couples that don't adhear to the law of chastity ... period

Should gay Mormons START being vocal about their sexuality?
Is it imperative that they remain silent to avoid censure?
If there was Church acceptance they would not have any (harmful) feelings of being at odds with (God) something.

The greater acceptance of homosexuality in the West is, in part, because individual gays have come out and publicly owned their orientation. So, no, gay people should not stop being vocal about their sexuality.

Letting gays marry does not 'redefine' marriage any more than allowing interracial marriage did.

What the hell does this mean: "I say we take away rights for couples that don't adhear to the law of chastity"?

And we are wondering when trolls will "shut up."

Why must straight people be so vocal about their straight sexuality? How dare straight people try and push their lousy straight sex on gays and telling us we can't marry.

Shut the hell up you straight people! We gays have the floor. Oh yeah, baby, I'm gay -- and I like boys! Hell yeah, give me a cute boy! Yum!! I love my gay tongue and what I do with it. Oh, yeah, baby -- oh yeah. And, I say we outlaw the law of chastity!

Gay power!

One of the ways the Church uses to identify if a homosexual is on the road to repentance and recovery is when such a one stops self identifying as homosexual or gay.
