From the website:

Interpreter Foundation is a nonprofit educational organization focused on the scriptures of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: the Book of Mormon, the Pearl of Great Price, the Bible, the Doctrine and Covenants, early LDS history, and related subjects. All publications in its journal, Interpreter: A Journal of Mormon Scripture, are peer-reviewed and are made available as free internet downloads or through at-cost print-on-demand services. Other posts on the website are not necessarily peer-reviewed, but are approved by Interpreter’s Executive Board.

Our goal is to increase understanding of scripture through careful scholarly investigation and analysis of the insights provided by a wide range of ancillary disciplines, including language, history, archaeology, literature, culture, ethnohistory, art, geography, law, politics, philosophy, etc. Interpreter will also publish articles advocating the authenticity and historicity of LDS scripture and the Restoration, along with scholarly responses to critics of the LDS faith. We hope to illuminate, by study and faith, the eternal spiritual message of the scriptures—that Jesus is the Christ.

Although the Board fully supports the goals and teachings of the Church, Interpreter Foundation is an independent entity and is neither owned, controlled by nor affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or with Brigham Young University. All research and opinions provided on this site are the sole responsibility of their respective authors, and should not be interpreted as the opinions of the Board, nor as official statements of LDS doctrine, belief or practice.

What better venue to finally publish to long suppressed and much bewailed Shcryver research! Let this groundbreaking work and game changing analysis finally see the light of day, free of charge, for all those who have eyes to see and ears to listen!

I challenge Chairman of the board DCP, Executive Editor William J. Hamblin, and the much esteemed executive board to publish William Schryver’s work and once and for, to end the controversy the surrounds the man’s questioned ability and competency.

I second this. I would love to see Will's work out there and the new MI seems to be an ideal venue.

The biggest problem could be that Schryver is spending so much of his time, in diguise, on this message board.

Seriously though, you'd think they would have already published something from him if, in fact, he really did have articles already finished that were suppressed by all those anti-Schryverites at the Maxwell Institute. If his scroll-length article was, as he said in his blog post, already finished and ready to be printed in the FARMS Review, then why on earth wasn't it one of the first articles to appear in the new Mormon Interpreter? Is it possible that it didn't pass muster in the "professional peer-review" process for the new MI?

Yes, DCP as an editor of Mormon Interpreter, and as Schryver defender extraordinaire (even in the face of MsJack's mountain of evidence of Will's misogyny, should step up and publish Schryver.

DCP: Let's see you do it, leopard.

Given the quality of Midgley's latest offering, I seriously doubt it. Your FAIR presentation already demonstrates you are more than capable of presenting interesting and cogent arguments.

I do find it interesting that with all the objections that were voiced when both Will's article(s?) and the Dehlin's piece were nixed that neither one was published in the first edition of the MI. Based on the resounding praise both have received from the persons involved in the Mormon Interpreter, you would have thought they would have seen either one or both as a must for the first edition.

I'll add my vote, once again, to see Will published.

The new MI will have to hide behind the copyright issue, they will hide because none of have the guts to tell William that what msjack documented and Williams refusal to own up to it is poor form on Williams part and that William is too much of credibility liability.

To bad William, you were you own worst enemy, and while you still get to drop names none will do you any favours other that not telling you you stop name dropping.

It's never going to see the light of day. They've said rather frankly that they need permission from the Brethren, and the Brethren are never going to give it--the same is true of Greg Smith's "hit piece" on John Dehlin. The Mopologists like to pretend as if the General Authorities don't care about what they're doing, and that the "spiking" of these articles was all Gerald Bradford's fault, but that's clearly not true. Bradford is merely a convenient scapegoat. The fact is, it's the Brethren that have refusted to give the go-ahead on these articles, and the Mopologists are too afraid to cross them.

If it "passed muster" for a FARMS Review, then there's no way it wouldn't have passed muster for the Mormon Interpreter.

In my opinion, if Schryver was told that it failed the website's peer review process, that's just code-language for "we don't want to destroy our reputation by publishing the work of a documented misogynist, but let's spare his feelings by blaming it on the peer review instead."

In that case, William can just copy-and-paste it to his blog. He doesn't need a General Authority's permission to post to his own weblog.
