Because over the last 150 years, the LDS Church has chosen to systematically purge certain unsavory facts about JSJr from its official, now correlated narrative of the founding and early days of the LDS Church.
But for that, the LDS Church would not consider historical facts, and their exposure, to be anti-Mormon.
