Mitt Romney's politics informed by his religion...

Post by _Sethbag »

Yes, it's true. Mitt Romney's politics is informed by his religion, including the example of Joseph Smith.

Joseph Smith too had binders full of women.

Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

Even as a "taliban exmormon" as someone here referenced me (lol, not even remotely accurate) I don't have a problem with Romney's politics influenced by his Mormonism. That isn't all bad and actually brings a lot of good to the table. My problem with him is the lack of likability and seeming out of touch. He seems to have lived in a bubble all his life.

Not saying Obama is better. This whole thing is just a power struggle with people as tools for them to reach their ambitions. They're politicians, they don't know how and can't fix any problems like they promise. If problems are fixed, it's incidental and they take credit.
