I was curious about this branch of Mormonism which Pastor Romney served in his ministry. Does anyone have recordings of the final sermons from his lectionary schedule? Did he defrock at night before settling in with Ann? Any good stories of this man of the cloth and ermine?

Well the 6th Article of Faith does claim that Mormons believe in pastors, so he's at least within the realm of possibility...

I wonder if he'll explain that one period of time he spent as Young Men's President as his time "as a youth minister".*

*hypothetically - I don't know if Mitt was ever YM Pres.

Mitt doing his best to unweird Mormonism. Got to use mainstream terms.

He was obviously trying to use "generic" terminology for the viewers. If he said he was a Bishop, people would think it was equivalent to a Catholic Bishop, which it isn't. If he said he was a stake president, nobody would know what that means. I'm sure he spent time with his advisers coming up with generic terms for his church leadership positions.

When Pastor Romney gets "hot under the collar" during the third debate, he is probably just heating up some brimstone.
