SL Trib endorsement carries more weight than if Desnews did

To outsiders with little more knowledge about Mormons and Mitt than what they received from the media, The SALT LAKE Tribune is much more likely to be associated to Mormons and Mitt than the deseret news.

The recent endorsement for Obama by The SALT LAKE Tribune is, IMHO, huge for Obama and tipping those who are sitting on the fence to vote for him.

Many may say, "Wow, the Mormon newspaper does not even endorse Mitt!".

If Desnews gets a call from the CEO of LDS Inc(Thommy) to copycat the Trib with an endorsement of Mormon Mitt, it will not have the same recognition as the The SALT LAKE Tribune. Some may say, "Deseret News?? Where is that paper?? "

Hell, Deseret isn't even a real word!
