http://news.msn.com/politics/obama-visi ... -campaignsPresident Barack Obama, locked in a fierce re-election bid, is emphasizing his incumbent's role for a third straight day, skipping battleground states to visit victims of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey, a state he's confident of winning. The president's actions have forced his Republican challenger, Mitt Romney, to walk a careful line and make tough choices.
The former Massachusetts governor must show respect for the superstorm's casualties all along the Eastern Seaboard. But Romney can ill afford to waste a minute of campaign time, with the contest virtually deadlocked in several key states and the election six days away.

I was impressed with the way Mitt took a day off from campaigning (proselytizing) and did some service work for people who were hurt by the hurricane. He didn't even wear the black name tag advertizing the organization (the GOP) he represents. Nope, just doing service for his fellow man. Honestly! This act of two-faced generosity comes naturally to Mormons like Mitt Romney. They know that 47% are going to the lowest kingdom no matter what you do.

Romney's looking at best impotent, and at worst downright silly (eg: his staged "disaster relief" photo op), not to mention his past words, when asked about FEMA, that he'd like to push disaster relief back to the states and the private sector (!), are looking pretty dumb right about now.
I wonder what the Chris Christie bromance is going to do for Obama next Tuesday.
I guarantee if Obama wins reelection, and Chris Christie tries for the Republican nomination in 2016, all those photos of him with Obama will be used against him, with a vengeance.
Anyhow, I feel pretty badly for all the people in NY and New Jersey and wherever else they're dealing with such crappy conditions and aftermath of this storm. I'm glad to see people pulling together and helping each other out over there.
