Everyone can see numerous examples (that go years and years back) of Pahoran name calling, belittling, attacking and hurling personal insult after insult. This is not a sign of someone who is well-balanced, or even a good person.

Obviously, based upon his posting history, Pahoran has not been a very good example of how a good LDS should act.

I would like to give Pahoran the benefit of the doubt. Afterall, by your fruits ye shall know them. Could someone please post or point me to something uplifiting or positive that Pahoran has ever posted? I really don't care when or where his comments were posted.

I would like to think I know Christ and have a pretty good personal relationship with Him. I certainly know He would not act anything like Pahoran has acted for years and years on these various boards.

Thanks for addressing the OP. So far it doesn't look good for Pahoran.

I've never really followed Pahoran's discussions (not for any personal reasons, but just, I suspect, because we tend not to gravitate toward the same discussions), but I do remember this from a while ago. I thought it was an admirable post.

The decision may or may not be wrong in law.

The decision may be (and I would argue is) wrong as a matter of morality.

But to accuse the court of corruption on no other ground that it has reached a morally wrong decision is seriously overreaching.

Courts are not there to do what is right; they are there to do what is legal.

You don't go to court to get justice; you go there to get judgement. In that respect, both sides got what they asked for.

And since neither you nor I nor any other supporter of marriage integrity has any evidence that the judges did anything other than weigh the facts before them in the light of the law as they understood it, the charge of corruption is uncharitable and unsupportable.

Bc, are you referring to the Gospel of Raptor Christ? Not much sanitizing in that one, other than claiming packs of velociraptors did not wear black name tags. Besides, Pahoran does not need to work in a pack. He is sufficient on his own.

And there we have it folks, bcspace, like many mopologist (this subject has been debated on MDDB) claims - though not explicitly, but anyone familiar with the Bible would know what bcspace is referring too - to be equal to Christ.

Yes, folks, bcspace and many other FAIRisees, will use Christ belittling "scribes, pharisees, hypocrites" in Matthew 23, as their justification for belittling, attacking etc.

Nevermind the fact, that the scribes and pharisees had set themselves up as the arbiters of truth when it came to the Gospel. (indeed it is ironic)

Nevermind the fact, that Jesus - Lord of Lords - taught the forefathers of the scribes and pharisees what the Gospel was to be.

Nevermind the fact, that Jesus knew the full intent, hearts and minds of those with whom He interacted.

So when you are attacked, belittled etc by another just remember that person is equal in power and dominion to Christ and they have every right and authority to do so.
