Many moons ago, Bond and I entered into agreement here on MDB, we placed a bet of 1 USD if Obama or Romney would take Minnesota in the election. As it is, Bond won and I am fulfilling my end of the obligation. I had dreaded this moment, but I was prepared. I have put away a new one dollar bill for this dark occasion:
I kept it where I always thought Bond’s politics belonged:
I kept the bill in an appropriately named baggie:
I would get the last say however, and wrote Bond a strongly worded letter (many mistakes, but I wrote it on the fly without proof reading):
And made sure to festoon the envelope with timely observations about Bond himself:

And here is the total package:
You won this year Bond, but next election cycle…
