One benefit that apostates provide to TBMs in the Intermountain West is token diversity. Without us, they wouldn't have the inside scoop on peoples that vary. We are like the African American man in the MoTab Choir. TBMs can go to church and tell their war stories to other adults and look at the children with greater wisdom.

I realize this might sound prideful. I suppose it is.

There's a South African in the Mo Tab choir?

Yes but the true sign of minority acceptance is for one in the majority to state they have several good friends (true or not) in the minority.

Picture a fast and testimony meeting and Joe gets up:

"My heart is so full and I've been so touched by my good apostate friends …"
