It's more the way that they would inevitably treat each other that worries me. I don't think I could stand the stress of playing referee.

Oh, you mean you would let each of them know about the others? That's Utah polygamy, not Nauvoo polygamy.

Which has its own drawbacks. No, polygamy simply doesn't work.
Human sexuality has been and always will be messy. Moments of bliss, but a helluva lot of heartache and stress too.
I think the best solution is to work on one's relationship with one's one spouse.
