Agree. It is shameful.

I like Ludwig, but Shades did indicate in a recent post that the issue was whether Ludwig would permanently refrain from posting material that some people might find to be NSFW ('Not safe for work').

Clearly what counts as NSFW is something that is not a mere matter of Shades' personal taste, since it is decided by what employers might object to seeing on the screens of their staff - and I gather that in some workplaces there are even automatic systems in place that flag up certain stuff.

Doe Ludwig have any objections to sticking to those limitations on a permanent basis? I believe from what I read that this may have been an issue between him and Shades for some considerable time, with each thinking the other is being unreasonable.

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Maybe with Stormy and Rockslider added on as moderators Shades will feel like he can free Ludwigm?

Chap I think Ludwigm agreed to those terms but Shades felt it was easier to keep him limited. In the past (according to Shades) Ludwigm has gone right back to posting NSFW pictures. With Stormy and Rockslider on board maybe Shades can try one more time. Behave yourself Ludwigm!!!!!

When this whole witch hunt has begun, it was about genitals (especially the David statue) and breasts (this caricature, please steal a glance at it...)
Both picture was prompt deleted.

There were nothing said about NSFW. Absolute nothing.
Would have been deleted only the [img] BBCode, could have the readers look at them - when their wife and/or boss is out of eyeshot.

To the whole NSFW idea:
imho, EVERY picture can be NSFW, any picture can show that it is not about the work the employee is paid for.

Is this SFW? ---> viewtopic.php?p=656748#p656748 (near full screen, can be seen from 5 meter distance)
And this is not? --> http://www.scrivener.net/blogbinariesQ3 ... hekilt.jpg (330x264 pixel, and the critical part of the picture is 20x20 px, one character size)

by the way the google image search of "Colonel Simon West" gives that kilt picture above in the first line - and http://mormondiscussions.com/phpBB3/vie ... =1&t=24782 in the fourth line...

Agree. It is shameful.

I, too, agree 100%. It is utterly shameful.

Another good one. Probably my favorite. Something I missed while reading about the Jaredites bringing Deseret to the New World: bees swarm!
