Deseret and Bees.

Ether 2:3
3 And they did also carry with them deseret, which, by interpretation, is a honey bee; and thus they did carry with them swarms of bees, and all manner of that which was upon the face of the land, seeds of every kind.

And it is unique.
As a - near universal - rule, he didn't picture humans.

This is why his pictures were pervading in barracks, in Hungary and in the block. Pictures without human targets can not be attacked from any ideologic direction. Even for Shades, I think.

by the way
our stairway is wallpapered by pictures discarded from The Army. Many Shishkins... (the Ivan (see here) ones!)

Really interesting, ludwig. Thanks for the commentary and I will have to spend some time looking at his work...

Edited to add: This is cool.
