Are you talking about the recent Synod of the Church of England, where all three sections of the Synod (bishops, clergy and laity) voted in favor of women bishops, but the laity just failed by six votes to get the required 2/3 majority?

Once again: man, not God.

When the only ones listening are the disenfranchised, the disenfranchised are not listening to. We know the leaders aren't listening, because if they were, the disenfranchised would no longer be so.

The priesthood is all about power, not service. Don't get the two confused. Which is why I shall be at the movies on Friday, and not in the temple.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Could we make that 'some men' please? Most men - and certainly most men who were bishops or other clergy - voted in favor of women bishops in that Synod.

Most are not based on the numbers I see. Progress can be slow.

Well, that's a cop out. I might need to seek solace elsewhere, if that's really the case.
