Greatest Moment!! Use It!

Post by _Crazy Horse »

The greatest Mormon Moment in the whole Mormon Movement!
Since the time that Governor Mitt Romney won the Republican nomination many members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and even people outside of the church started calling the 2012 Presidential Election the Mormon Moment. However the Mormon Moment all of a sudden fizzled out when President Barack Obama was re-elected. The greatest Mormon Moment did occur during the election but the world just has not seen it yet. The greatest Mormon Moment occurred at the opening of the 182nd Semiannual General Conference of the Church, when Thomas S. Monson announced that, effective immediately, men may begin serving missions at the age of 18 and women can start serving missions at age 19.
Members of the church were shocked by this announcement and were so excited about having something new come from their leaders. My heart also jumped for joy, but for a way different reason. You see, as soon as I heard that announcement I knew that the church had in a sense just slit its own throat. It was not the announcement that I am talking about, but the way it was announced and why.
The first thing is that the announcement was made by a so-called Prophet, Seer, and Revelator. According to the Bible Dictionary, a prophet is someone who acts as God’s messenger or makes known Gods will. In Mosiah 8: 17 it says a Seer can know things in the past as well as things in the future. A revelator is someone that can expound the scriptures or uncover knowledge that is hidden or sealed.
The way the announcement was made, it was clear to see that it was not coming from a Prophet, Seer, or Revelator. During a press conference it was discussed that the reduction in age limit was tested in several countries and it proved successful. The leaders discussed how they had talked with Mission Presidents and others and they feel confident that the change is the right thing to do for the whole church.
Now, a true prophet would've all ready knew God’s will, a seer would've already knew if it was going to work. A seer would have also known that Mitt Romney was not going to be elected which brings me to the why the age change was made.
I do not think people realize how much power the church has over Politics and the Media. I see the announcement for changing the missionary age as nothing more than a foolish campaign stunt. Although I can see the dangers for the church of having a Mormon President, I feel that the church leadership felt really confident that Mitt Romney was going to win the election. I also feel that the church wanted to energize the members as well as others watching the election that the church was getting ready.
For weeks after the announcement the media ran stories about how young men and women were flocking to their bishops to get their mission papers. It was reported that the number of missionary applications went from 700 a week to at one point over 4000 a week. Young men and women stood up in testimony meetings and said how inspired the announcement was and how many more missionaries were going to be entering the mission field.
The thing is that the increase of missionaries submitting their applications is nothing more than just an artificial bump as a result of opening the missionary opportunity to three years worth of perspective missionaries. In the long run the number of missionaries submitting their papers each week will go back down to around the pre-announcement levels. The announcement could also have something to do with the fact that residents put a stop to the expansion of the MTC.
The main point is that this moment in Mormon History could be a tipping point where members of the Church are able to see that putting their faith in any man is wrong. The sad thing is that the church will just try to sweep it under the rug.
The day after the Election, Radio West did a radio program on how Mitt Romney losing the election would affect the Mormon Moment. At the beginning of the show, I called in and told the screener basically what I have just written. She said she would pass the information on to Doug, but none of it was ever used during the show. The screener did say that they were going to do another story on the Mormon Moment in the future but I doubt they will even mention it. I do believe that what I wrote could change people’s perspective of what a Prophet, Seer, and Revelator is. Maybe someone here is smarter than the media and can find a way to get people to see the danger in putting all trust in a man.

The day will come when all temples built by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will be tore down!

Someone showed me this and I wanted to share it with you. In D&C 84:49 it says that the whole world lieth in sin, and groanth under darkness and under the bondage of sin. In many instances it is the leaders of people that take away freedom and agency. This can be seen as true of the leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. From almost the beginning of the church, members have been put in bondage by the use of temples.
The leaders of the church use the temples and temple recommends in a way that takes away the free agency of its members. In order to get a temple recommend members must support church leaders as Prophets, Seers, and Revelators, pay tithing, attend church meetings and other things such as pay child support.
The day is coming that members of the church will see the bondage that they are in and all of the LDS Temples will be tore down by church members, people of the world or by the works of God.
In D&C 45:18, Jesus shows his disciples that the temple, which is in Jerusalem, which is called the house of God and your enemies, say that this house shall never fall will be tore down.
Why was the temple torn down? In D&C 84:25 we learn that Moses was taken out of the midst of the Jews and also the Holy Priesthood. So from the time of Moses to the time of Jesus, the Kingdom of the Jews was worshipping in their temple without the authority of God. It was John the Baptist’s mission to overthrow the kingdom of the Jews. D&C 84:28, JS-H 1:69, D&C 13.
In the scriptures it says that Jesus will suddenly come to his temple not his temples. According to the scriptures, Jesus and other living prophets went and taught the people in their temples which were built in the manner of the Jews. In Matthew 21:12-15 the leaders of the church were jealous that the children of the temple or kingdom (JST) were praising Jesus for cleansing the temple.
In Jacob 2, Jacob goes into the temple to cry repentance to men, women, and CHILDREN of all their sins including the love of riches, pride, and other whoredoms. Alma 34:36 says that God does not dwell in unholy temples but in the hearts of the righteous. The scriptures also say if anyone says that God dwells in secret chambers (Celestial Room) believe them not. D&C 97:17. The purpose of the temple was for members to be endowed with power and knowledge, which happened in the Kirtland Temple.
The modern day endowment is just a wake up call to how Satan has some of the members of the church in chains of bondage. The day is coming that the members will break those chains and put their trust in God and not man. It is very clear in the Temple endowment how Satan is keeping members in bondage. When Satan is asked what he is doing? He points to the audience and says, I am overseeing the teaching of this people. What is being taught? The philosophies of men mingled with scripture. How is this teaching being received? Satan replies, “VERY WELL”.
Even from the end of the time of Joseph Smith the church has taught the philosophies of men mingled with scripture. The church is currently releasing new curriculum for young members. How many times does the curriculum of the church need to be changed or evolved? The only time that scriptures are really used in church is to support a certain topic. The church needs to get rid of all the manuals and turn to the scriptures that contain all the mysteries of God and a history of the world from the beginning to the end.
The two biggest philosophies of men mingled with scripture used in the church are Eternal Families (polygamy) and the work for the dead. Both of these doctrines of men evolved at the end of Joseph Smith’s life. D&C 128 was not a revelation from God but a letter about work for the dead from Joseph Smith.
D&C 129,130,131 were not revelations from God but instructions taught by Joseph Smith. D&C 132 is highly questionable because Polygamy was highly controversial and was not openly practiced until after Joseph Smith’s death. It is also why Brigham Young and his followers were pushed out of Nauvoo. D&C 132 cannot be treated as scripture because it was never approved by common consent by all of the members not only in Nauvoo but of all the many other congregations in other states.
D&C 137 is the one section that had to be put in the back of the Doctrine and Covenants for a reason. Section 137 shows that there is no need for work for the dead. Verses 6-10 totally blow the concept of work for the dead out of the water. Last Sunday, a bishop read a letter supposedly from the first presidency that said that Elijah turning the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers is talking about genealogy and work for the dead. One of the only places that the scriptures even mention genealogy is in D&C 85:3&4 where it is clear that those that do not live the law of consecration should not have their names enrolled in the kingdom of God. In Joseph Smith-History 1:39 it is clear that Elijah would show members of the church if they humbled themselves and believed the promises made to others in the past they would be saved in the kingdom of God and the world would not be utterly wasted at the Second Coming of Christ. The teachings about the temple in the church today are only to keep members in bondage just like the concept that the leaders of the church will not be allowed to lead members astray. Which cannot be found anywhere in pre-1980 editions of the Official LDS Scriptures.
The Temples will come down!!!
The current LDS Church is being run similarly to the church under the leadership of King Noah in Mosiah 11.

The world moves on with little regard (outside of Utah) of the Mormon cult. A change in the missionary age is really little more than an adjustment in the way a corporation does business. Yet droves of TBM faithful treat this as the heavens have opened and god has revealed her will. It is amazing how low the revelation bar has been set.

Relax, life with President Obama will go on much the same as always. At least till the next reckoning of the bees, when the one mighty and strong shall be thrust forward to ride the White Stallion of Destiny and hang the Constitution by a polyester thread.

Making a business type decision about missionary age did it for ya, huh?

This list could be endless but for brevity's sake:

1. Not teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ as commanded in competence as if someone in leadership had actually accomplish it within a hundred years or so. That did not do it for ya?
2. Administering the sacrament to everyone without consideration of the commandment of Jesus Christ to NOT give it to those who failed to take upon them the name of Christ as the Book of Mormon was careful to judge BEFORE their names were taken so that those still weak in the faith might be taught and nurtured and helped to come unto Christ correctly and receive the actual gift and power of the gospel. That never did it for you? (3 Nephi 18)
3. Giving the priesthood to everyone even though they failed to receive the gospel and never manifested the gifts of God so as to be called accordingly? Never did it for you, huh?
4. Sending everyone into the temple unprepared and unworthy so that they could only blaspheme the name of the Lord and incur the coming wrath of an offended God. That never occurred to you? ( D&C 112)
5. Admonishing the members to excel in academia, business, and all things before they seek FIRST the kingdom of God and his righteousness as Jesus taught we should to and to stay on tract UNTIL we receive the promise of the Father the gift and power of the Holy Ghost. Did not do it for ya, huh? (Acts 1&2)
6. Giving temple recommends for money and sustaining votes rather than seeking to discern between clean and unclean so that the temple is not defiled and the Spirit and Presence of Christ might actually dwell therein. Did not ring any bell for ya, huh?

Moses 6: 57
57 Wherefore teach it unto your children, that all men, everywhere, must repent, or they can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God, for no unclean thing can dwell there, or dwell in his presence; for, in the language of Adam, Man of Holiness is his name, and the name of his Only Begotten is the Son of Man, even Jesus Christ, a righteous Judge, who shall come in the meridian of time.

7. Choosing rank hypocrisy over true righteousness never gave you a clue?
8. The historical fact that no leader, teacher, LDS professor or writer has ever once elucidated the correct gospel of Jesus Christ in the entire history of the LDS Church never came up in the imagination of your heart?
9. Zion is less understood or cared about today than at any time before even though the hour is getting late and there is no foundation or even a vain attempt to give a crap. Never thought of that huh?
10. Dude! The day of the Church or the day of the Gentile is OVER friend. They have sinned against it sufficient to have it ripped from their bosoms. And it is gone. Long gone and it is not ever going to return unto them. The power has left the building. Wake up!

The good news is that the Lord is doing his own work and Zion shall be redeemed. Soon Lord Jesus soon.
