Another (totally) vanished thread. What's up?
On a previous occasion I brought up the problem of threads being moved from one forum to another without any indication of where they have gone.
Now, so far as I can see, the entire thread "Commiseration for D. Peterson and the Mormon Boys" has vanished completely. There are a few detached fragments in Telestial, but they were sent there days ago.
For this to happen without any kind of explanation is ... well, sinister, and unconducive to the impression that this is a board that operates on an open basis.
So what's up?

I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis.

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

[based on threats of litigation the thread has been removed from public access]

Hmm. Being a board host is a thankless task.
I did everything Eric demanded of me. I ceased and desisted pulling stuff out of the public file and deleted it from the thread. I committed never to speak of Westridge again.

DCP emulates JSJr in his litigious nature, that's for sure.

Eric's account has also been deleted.

In that case it would have been a courtesy to those of us who have posted on that thread to have put up a short statement explaining what had been done and why.
What is this, the MAD board?
Litigation by whom, by the way?

Has the good doctor ever sued anybody?
I do remember that he was sued by an evangelical minister. I represented some of the defendants, but not him. The minister dismissed my clients one day after telling my associate that God told him to do so.

I am curious about this as well. Did this have to do with Eric's impending case against Westridge, or was a suit against MDB the issue?

[DCP had zero involvement in this thread or reasons for it being removed.]

Statement of what was done and why given here ... it was obvious it would be a short wait until someone asked.
Litigation by whom, by the way?
take a wild guess.
