The board isn't giving me one, so I'm just using it now. It's too awesome to let go unposted.

I'm laughing and at the same time appalled. I don't think this couple talked to enough people before performing this outrageous bit of redneckery.

I wonder if they thought two old crackers could win over the black audience by rapping "nigga"?
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I wondered if the reason they didn't apparently balk at saying "nigga" was that they were Southern white folks who, um, say that all the time. I'd hope not, but you never know.

Pretty funny stuff though. Thanks EA! It was definitely worth posting that.

I liked BC's link too. I've watched a few of those Epic Rap Battles of History before, don't recall seeing a real rapper like, in this case, Snoop Dogg doing one of the sides. That was cool.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

ROFL
About Joseph Smith.. How do you think his persona was influenced by being the storyteller since childhood? Mastering the art of going pale, changing his voice, and mesmerizing his audience.. How do you think he was influenced by keeping secrets and lying for his wife and the church members for decades?

You should have saved such a worthy piece for something more poignant.

Just saying ;)

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

Thanks. That pretty much made my day.
Surprise, surprise, there is no divine mandate for the Church to discuss and portray its history accurately.
