Why Oh Why Oh Why?

Was feeling a bit bad this morning about the last mean thing I wrote here dinging the Mormons yesterday. Thinking about what its like to be betrayed by those you love gave me some empathy for Christ. He first loved us. He is an eternal being. So he is not going to stop loving us. Get used to it.

What do you do when you try and fail? You try, try, again. What else? This is his work and his glory to bring to pass the exaltation and eternal life of man. Which men? He chose his rulers in the beginning. Those whom the Father had put into his hand. This made lots of others angry having not been chosen from the beginning. Did not seem to matter. Let them have their little rebellion. Does not matter that the world walks in darkness at noon day and denies God when the evidence is beyond overwhelming. God will pursue his work regardless.

Yeah, I know exactly what it's like to have forever friends, family, neighbors, ward members who where as important to you as your own parents should have been, and even those young girls you fancied turn against you all at once and make sport of your sudden MAGICAL THINKING gifts of weekly expounding doctrine better than any Mormon yet had. And at such a young age. That sort of betrayal is not easily forgiven nor forgotten.

You do not stop loving them. Well, I sort of do all the time. But Christ and his Father never do. Sure they kill off a world when its time but only to begin again. Who knows once all intelligence, kept for the next go round, are returned to a state of innocence new ones will be chosen to become the rulers. Just how God will accomplish this is his own work and glory. We would say it's impossible since all these intelligences already failed. And who knows how many times they had failed and sinned exceedingly at it?

But to God all things are possible and his love will find a way. No not for everyone. Just not yet. All will help though by making up a world and fill up the other dimensions from where these rulers will be tried and tested and given great weaknesses to make them humble and crave a Savior and demand redemption by faith against the impossible circumstances that have been crafted to enlarge their souls and draw them unto Christ and God.

I know perfectly how offended the Lord is by this present generation of learned madness brought along by the seducer, tempting by knowledge, even the devil, to be taught to hate and deny and mock the Living God. Of this I am a true witness and made to know it by partaking of the smallest particle of the same.

The interesting thing in the process of thinking along these lines this morning is that after I humbled myself and felt after the truth of the love of God I was given by the power of the Holy Ghost a witness for it. I can not throw that switch. Go figure.

Tell me that there is no God. I know him. He knows me. Get used to it.
