A Video Tribute to Stemelbow
We here at Cassius University's Department of Cynicism have noticed that stemelbow's current comments on the board are curiously devoid of the hillbilly persona he has tended to affect here. Indeed, it is quite remarkable how stemelbow manages to occasionally post as a normal person, almost suggesting that his hillbilly affectation and derails of threads involving topics he finds uncomfortable are contrived, calculated tactics.
To celebrate stemelbow's presence on the board, some of our students have made this touching audio-visual presentation. I must say it touched me, even bringing a tear to my eye. I hope you find this tribute as moving as I do.

Congratulations to the young skulls full of mush who compiled and edited this fine piece of cinema. I think we might have a contender at the yearly Cassius Film Festival

I'm man enough to admit that I shed a few tears watching this.
Probably the "Citizen Kane" of MDB movies. It's even more impressive when one considers that the students of Cassius directed, produced, edited, wrote and scored the music with such limited funds.

The responses are trickling in:
"The Stemelbow tribute is as important to modern film making as Mama Cass was to ham sandwiches." -- Roger Ebert
"I laughed. I cried. I did some light dusting." -- Rex Reed
"I like our chances." -- Joe Cocker's attorney

shucks, DJ. I knew you cared. It's good to see you finally showing it.
It's nice to let go a little and demonstrate some real life adoration once in a while, huh?

Oh yeah, "shucks".
Save it for the sequel, Darth?

I'll fill you in. DJ has it in for me for whatever reason. He just wanted to mock me so others can join in on the fun. This thread will get plenty of play, even though there's been some weird hit piece campaign lately to put me on ignore. They are a cute and angry bunch you associate with, Californiakid.
I don't get it, but it seems to make them feel better. I'll do what I can for them.

That's certainly odd.
You're not saying things like "Gee" in many threads either. For some reason that actually means something to you.
