So why isn't the thread back up?

Because they're investigating, taking precautions to find out if they're legally in the clear?

It doesn't matter if a formal threat has been made. What we know is that these clowns are seriously talking about going to court over this, which would put the message board in jeopardy.

Just chillax and let's see how this plays itself out.

Usually I’d agree with you, but you are dealing with Shades here, who would never restore it on his own. We had to beg just to be able to be allowed to post images, had we not kicked up a fuss over that, they’d still be disabled.

Shades won’t act until we annoy him to the point of him taking action, otherwise he’d be content to forget the whole thing and go back to harassing Zeez.

Shades could've gotten a PM/email I did not. I wouldn't go that far. Any legal threats would be of the clown college variety, but if DCP and the gang go full scientologist it could be a hassle for Shades. He's probably mulling that over.

Now that the Dehlin article has been published, it is time to cut through the "unpublished work" smokescreen, acknowledge that Dr. Scratch adhered to fair use guidelines in his review, and put his review thread back up, intact.

The excellent work of Dr. Scratch should be front and center here.

For the love of Pete, couldn't he spell Ray Agostini's name correctly after all the time Ray has spent defending apologists? Or is RayAgnosti supposed to be Smith's idea of a joke?

I would bet money on him misreading his name because RayAgnosti fits his posting persona.
