Increased Missionaries funneled into 58 New Missions

Post by _moksha »

Can you feel the excitement in the air?

The age bar has been lowered and young missionary applications are burgeoning. How best to deploy this stripling army after high school graduation you ask?

58 new missions on which to send LDS boys and girls out into the world to preach the gospel. I imagine the Twin Falls, Idaho mission will be the most sought after, but the Wichita, Kansas mission sounds pretty good too. We can almost hear the world shouting, "O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!" even as this is being read.

Take that you critics who proclaim the gradual withering away of The Church. Your grandchildren will be raised under the sign of the Beehive.

My understanding is that there will be a new Utah mission. What a waste. If you live here you either know what the church is, or you've just moved here and you'll find out soon enough.

I've always felt sorry for the young men and women "called to serve" here in the Salt Lake Valley. Part of the reason I'm always so polite to them. I just let my wife answer the door naked when they come knocking. Does the trick with no nastiness whatsoever.
As soon as you concern yourself with the 'good' and 'bad' of your fellows, you create an opening in your heart for maliciousness to enter. Testing, competing with, and criticizing others weaken and defeat you. - O'Sensei
