COLUMBUS — Police have responded to a shooting with multiple victims that ended near the Columbus, Ohio, temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The shooting was reported Tuesday at about 3:45 p.m. MST on the west side of Columbus, according to NBC affiliate 10TV.

A temple representative told the station the shooting occurred in the parking lot of the temple. The person who called 911 said shots were fired at a vehicle.

A man and a woman, and the male suspect, were transported to area hospitals in critical but stable condition, according to police. Homicides were at the scene Tuesday night investigating.
