I am going to continue to harp on this until somebody gets it. Imagine me standing at the Roy, Utah half/cage almost full and ready to close up. Suddenly I walk over to a jumble of over sized mail I have never looked at and grab the first thing that is quite cumbersome but a perfect fit to fill up the narrow empty space in my ROY container and this piece just happens to be a Roy piece of mail!!!!!!!!! Seems incidental, right? But not so. The truth of it came to my mind suddenly and I simply acted without a worry.

What was coolest about it was my absence of thought before hand. Usually I have something to think on about God and his purposes. But I was troubled in my heart and was void of any inspiration. Sort of like the Lord may be testing me to see where my mind will wander. So just before this incident occurred I was reaching out to find a thought and a purpose for the day. And this happened to let me know he was near all the same. cool.

This sort of thing happens a lot and I never before thought it was the Lord's way of saying hello. Being human I imagined myself somewhat of a psychic. lol But I never had any control as it would pass by as a whisper and fade away. If I caught it well and good and if I failed to put my money down I cried. So just today I realized better what is going on here with these sudden thoughts about mundane events.

As time went on, each succeeding prophet became less of a dreamer.

Why was Joseph Smith the only person who needed physical props to receive revelation?

Or did OD1 and OD2 and the last section of the D&C come about using a rock in a hat?

How many Prophets since Joseph Smith have claimed/comfirmed visitations by personages?

It is unaccountable that you get sudden thoughts about what to do next?

The rest of us call this being conscious.

Because each succeeding prophet was older and older and older. This is the heart of the problem associted with the "lifelong" term of the Brethren's callings.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.
