CES students still being told, "U are a chosen generation" ?

Some 30+ years ago a very common praise the seminary teachers used was "You are a chosen generation!"

Followed with "the reason you were born here, in Utah to a LDS family is because of how brave and valiant you were during the great war in heaven"

Yea it was an ego boost.

20 years later I hear the same BS from seminary teachers and I realized that they had probably been saying this since the 1840s.

Since none of my kids have ever attended the brainwashing of seminary and therefore far removed from that BS, are there any here close enough to the LDS sink to see if they are still using that line to make the kids feel shhhpechul?
