Been to both. Boston is great. I prefer New Orleans. It's the food! Crawfish season.

Might I suggest anywhere other than Dublin is a poor imitation on St Patricks Day.
1. The Liffey runs emerald green
2. Guinness is a breakfast drink
3. Genuine, live diddly-dee music
4. The book of Kells
5. Shanahan's on the Green, replete with JFK's rocking chair
That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)

I would love to see Dublin at St. Pats! My Mother is from Nenagh. It would be fun to get a skinfull in Dublin and then go to visit the gene pool in Nenagh.

Someday.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Paddy's Day in Dublin is bonkers.

Nenagh, it's a long way....

About a hundred miles? We do that for a breakfast outing around here (Southern California). At one point in my life, my commute to work was nearly that far.

Besides, the drive would give me the chance to sober up.

We Mormons make due with green Kool-Aid. We might also partake of green Jell-O squares and shout, "Enish-go-on-Dosh" to show our Irishness.

Tobin wrote:Just have a pint and enjoy the day. I see nothing wrong with having a drink (outside of certain medical limitations). The WoW is about self-control and taking care of oneself. Many Mormons are morbidly obese and are badly abusing the WoW. Yet, they would object to someone who on occasion takes a drink. That is just silly and hypocritical.

I feel like I've just stepped into some bizarre time-space vortex into a parallel universe where... I wholeheartedly agree with something Tobin said on this board.

As I heard when at BYU. QR - Quick Repent!
“If paying tithing means that you can’t pay for water or electricity, pay tithing. If paying tithing means that you can’t pay your rent, pay tithing. Even if paying tithing means that you don’t have enough money to feed your family, pay tithing." Ensign/2012/12
