If I really want to impact someone's life, I give to the Salvation Army, the local food bank, habitat for humanity, St Judes, and like charities.
Wise.

Take contributions from poor peasants in South and Central America so that you can teach comparatively rich Americans how to become even richer in SLC, Utah. I see what the church is doing. I think the mall reveals that its mandate is not really universal.

Yea, so were we, we just post from our phones while we are helping the needy. I bet the Church mall sells phones that will let you post when you're out serving the needy.

How much more admirable it would have been if beanboots was out helping a needy person with no denomination to claim. Just some poor person to help, no questions asked.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

City Creek is nice and as malls go, it is probably the only one boasting a critical race theory ring in its cornerstone and the only one with countdown shopping convenience.
Of course, at the Vatican Steps Mall you can purchase an organic crown on the Via Dolorosa concourse and at the Hasidic Weeping Mall, you can get some good bagels.

I'd bet dollars to donuts it was a priesthood assignment.

Probably with a "Mormon Helping Hands" t-shirt. Can't let a PR opportunity pass.

I agree, it's not like we are some religious organization who might want to lead the way in charitable donations and feeding the hungry. Screw the poor, they are always around. Let's build a mall for rich people and see if we can attract more of them to downtown. Maybe the poor will feel uncomfortable enough with the upscale neighborhood and go somewhere else. For God's sake we have a temple here, we don't want homeless bums hanging around!!!
Trickle down charity? Give to the rich so that they will buy more luxuries, which will employ more of the middle class and poor to make those luxuries? Yeah, that's the ticket.
