Did they change the new temple movie to match the events written in the Bible? I used to LOVE to ask TBM's which version was true - Bible or Temple??

Bible vs Temple Ceremony -

Temple Day 1 - Organize matter into a world like others that have been formed.

Bible Day 1 - God creates world. Calls the light "day", and the darkness "night."

Temple Day 2 - Gather waters together, cause dry land to appear. Waters called seas, dry land called earth.

Bible Day 2 - Gather waters together, cause dry land to appear. Waters called seas, dry land called earth.

Temple Day 3 - Divide the light from the darkness. Calls the light "day", and the darkness "night." Sun, moon, and stars created.

Bible Day 3 - Place seeds of all kinds in the earth that they may spring forth as grass, flowers, shrubbery, trees, and all manner of vegetation.

Temple Day 4 - Place seeds of all kinds in the earth that they may spring forth as grass, flowers, shrubbery, trees, and all manner of vegetation.

Bible Day 4 - God creates the sun, moon, and stars.

Temple Day 5 - Place all manner of animal life upon the earth.

Bible Day 5 - Place all manner of animal life upon the earth.

Temple Day 6 - Adam and Eve created.

Bible Day 6 - Adam and Eve created.

Temple Day 7 - No reference to a Day 7.

Bible Day 7 - God blessed the seventh day, sanctified it, and rested from all his work.

Sigh...

Of course!! The great Edward G. Robinson's last film. He died 12 days after filming his last scene. In keeping with the spirit of Soylent Green, the cast and crew ate him. Tasted like chicken.

They installed LED lights on the ceilings of the temple?

I just want to know one thing...

Have the various costumes worn by the actors representing God, Christ, Peter, James and John, Adam, Eve and Satan (did I forget anyone) improved at all? The old movie costumes were so ridiculous looking and of such poor quality that they distracted almost as much as the goofy plastic hedges in front of Eve

Never liked the film idea at all. Hearing loss meant not hearing the voices when the music was playing.
Won't even get into vertigo attacks with the flyovers of the creation scenes...

Does Satan have any actual SYMBOLS on his apron in the new film..., or is it blank still, probably indicating he has not powers and priesthoods?

My understanding is that the actual script itself has not changed one iota.
So Satan is still the starring part and the order of the creation is still different to that articulated in the Bible.

So just the window dressing has changed (and it's 15 minutes longer to allow for subtitles in difficult languages to keep pace with the pictures).
That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)

I just recently watched Soylent Green, so reading this made me laugh.

How is it Satan can enter the garden, which is a celestial paradise, and also be in the presence of Elohim and Jehova?

The Garden of Eden was Terrestrial, not Celestial.

BY wrote:"Now hear it, O inhabitants of the earth, Jew and Gentile, Saint and sinner! When our father Adam came into the garden of Eden, he came into it with a celestial body, and brought Eve, one of his wives, with him."

And

"When the earth was framed and brought into existence and man was placed upon it, it was near the throne of our Father in heaven. And when man fell—though that was designed in the economy, there was nothing about it mysterious or unknown to the Gods, they understood it all, it was all planned—but when man fell, the earth fell into space, and took up its abode in this planetary system, and the sun became our light. . . This is the glory the earth came from, and when it is glorified it will return again unto the presence of the Father, and it will dwell there."

Wouldn't that indicate, together with the absence of death, and a place where God comes and mingles with man, a celestial realm?

Remember they were cast out of the garden into a terrestrial realm. How would the paradise of the garden be the same?
It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener at war.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.
