There is no "rule" or "standard" by which academic turf wars are to be fought, but generally if they are fought in public it is unseemly. Drs. Personally, I'm sad the blog is going down. This latest episode was surreal. The Internet Mormons beaten at their own game. For a moment, Bill and his friends arguing with David B. may have felt the same frustration a Chapel Mormon feels upon encountering local floods, two Cumorahs, men descending from monkeys and so on.

Oh by the way, statements I read about attempts to get "clarification" on what the MI believes made me chuckle. Maybe they feel the same anxiety Brother Sparks felt all those years ago.

I haven't been following this situation, but I noticed that Hamblin said that Bokovoy believes that the Book of Abraham is a fictitious creation. Is that true? How does Hamblin know this?
