You are dodging the question. What is factually incorrect on the site? Truth does not care about being faith promoting or casting doubt, whether it be about Mormonism Scientology, etc.
I am still waiting for the MuslimThink site and billboards telling the 'truth' about islam.
Start one if you want it so bad. They are not Muslim, but Mormon or former Mormon. I wouldn't doubt some Muslims or former ones have produced material critical of Islam. You are hypocritical in thinking you can be critical of them, but they are somehow not allowed to the same with you or the church.

And once again you continue to avoid the question. Before your blathering rants about liars and hate can have any merit, they should have a foundation in something other than your blanket opinion. What lies are published at Mormonthink?
2 Tim 4:3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. 2 Tim 4:4 They will turn their ears away from the truth & turn aside to myths

He has been active in another thread, so I think it is safe to say he is doing his usual run away and hope people forget he will not back up his dumb assertions.
why me wrote:Back to the OP: So, here we have a billboard that attempts to destroy a religious people faith in their own religion. A billboard that addresses a particular group of people. I just imagine billboard that proclaim MuslimThink sprouting up everywhere...designed to get muslims to rethink their faith. I would say that such billboards would be classified as hate and taken down.
cafe crema wrote:And the LDS church has an army deployed to destroy people's faith in their own religion so there's no problem with a billboard (which unlike the army, is passive) trying to do the same thing to LDS members.
As do the evangelicals and the catholics and the protestants. How do you think the catholic religion spread across the globe? How many pagans had their religion destroyed by catholic missionaries? The billboard is not meant to convert but to destroy a person's faith and replace it with what? What about a catholicthink billboard with a well detailed site about the catholic faith as the mormonthink has and for the same intent? Or a muslimthink site? To place a billboard that singles out someone's faith to harm that faith is hateful.
No the Evangelicals and the Catholics and the Protestants don't send tens of thousands of boys out to destroy the religion of others. Anti-Catholic billboards are nothing new and there are many anti-Catholic websites. So what, people are allowed to believe what they want and to share those beliefs however they see fit. LDS just choose to share them by pestering people at home, I'll take a billboard over that any day.
You're just fine with any and every LDS who wants to destroy the religious beliefs of Catholics, Methodists, Lutherans and on and on, the only people whose beliefs are untouchable are Mormons, no one should ever ever ever try to change the beliefs of a Mormon, you call that hate.
scotchipman wrote:What have the average daily hits settled at on Mormon Think now that the billboard has been up for over two weeks?
Seems like their average before the sign was 70k hits a day. Here is more from Dan
Dan From MormonThink wrote:Yes, traffic immediately doubled when it went up. It peaked to over 2+1/2 times normal to close to 170k hits in one day. It slid back down but still significantly above average. It spiked back up again Friday with over 130k hits.
