Purple Pants in Church Sunday?

You have probably heard that this Sunday is the second annual "Wear Pants to Church" in support of women.

Similarly minded men are encouraged to wear purple.

I will be wearing pants, as usual, but will also be wearing a purple shirt and purple tie.

Anybody here planning on joining in?

I won't be going to church this sunday but I will be wearing pants.

Purple pants are not easy to find. But this demonstration will have the same effect as demonstratively taking the sacrament with the left hand. Good luck with that.

I have a shirt that is a fine purple pattern over white, and I have snazzy purple tie. Of course my wife and 3 daughters will all have on fancy pants as well.

And I'll make sure to take the sacrament with my left hand - as always.

I'm swinging by the LDS church after my church on Sunday and yes, I will be wearing pants. And probably a purple tie. It's what I did last year:

Perhaps I'm wrong in my assumption but aren't y'all exmos? I don't understand why critics would care. Church isn't true, so why the obsession with changing it? Or is this part of your tactic to "bring it down"? Maybe if they let women have the priesthood that will be the death blow. I don't get it. I'm irritated by this too because I often wear purple. So I guess I have to be sure not to wear purple this Sunday.

In 1978 the Church ended one discriminatory priesthood ban, do you think it's beyond probability that they will end the other? Why do you think it isn't desirable to allow women to hold the priesthood?
