Here I will paraphrase a FAQ's answer for you:

I was an anti Mormon and studied all this.
It is all LIES!!!!

You are all MORONS!!!

The curse was never doctrinal. You are a moron for saying it was.

[/end FAQ channeling]

How was that?
There is a reason he is the only person here that I have on my ignore list.

Before I joined the Church, I was 16 and asked about it. My Mormon friend across the street asked his mother about it and she answered both of us, and I remember it like it was yesterday, we were all walking up the stairs.

She explained that they were cursed because of their actions in the preexistence. She also said that the Jews were cursed because they willfully killed Jesus and said let his blood be on their children. This family was very devout. Very educated. Had the Journal of Discourses on their shelves and always believed the deeper truths could be mined from reading the words of older LDS prophets.

Is this woman still alive? Has she seen the Race and Priesthood Statement? I'd LOVE to see her reaction when somebody read it to her.

That's a great question. I am still close friends with her youngest, apostate son. I'll ask him to ask her.

Don't hold your breath. I showed mormonsandgays.org to a TBM friend who was adamant that being gay was a choice. He said that the brethren didn't really mean it when they said it's not a choice, they were just saying that for PR reasons. :surprised:

Please don't blame LDSfaqs for not listening to the prophets.... he's just a cafeteria Mormon like many others on this site.

The curse of Cain remains doctrine. For example:

Yes, but wasn't this mark was a tendency to be conservative rather than being a skin color?

No, but he was caused to wander and be a vagabond on the earth, the hall marks of liberal Occupiers.
